2019 Ram Heavy Duty Chassis Cab Production Mix For The U.S. Market:

Thanks to our dealer contacts, we have gotten a look at the rough production estimates for what the Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant (Saltillo Truck) will be cranking out for November 2019 production when it comes to 2019 Ram Chassis Cab models. While there aren’t any exact numbers, the production mix allows us to get a good look at which configurations are the most popular for the month. This is usually based more on dealer inventory orders placed prior to the production month but is very interesting nonetheless.

According to Ram Trucks to its dealer body, here is what the production for November 2019 will look like from Saltillo Truck (this list is based on U.S. orders and does not include the Mexican-exclusive Ram 4000, Canadian, or export numbers)…

Ram 3500 Chassis Cab Production Mix For November 2019:

Models:

• ST –  96%
• SLT – 1%
• Laramie – 1%
• Limited – 2%

Powertrain:

• 6.4-liter HEMI V8 – 32%
• 6.7-liter Cummins I-6 Turbo Diesel – 68%

Drivetrain: 

• 4×2 – 36%
• 4×4 – 64%

Ram 4500/5500 Chassis Cab Production Mix For November 2019:

Models:

• ST – 89%
• SLT – 0%
• Laramie – 11%
• Limited – 0%

Powertrain:

• 6.4-liter HEMI V8 – 5%
• 6.7-liter Cummins I-6 Turbo Diesel – 95%

Drivetrain: 

• 4×2 – 55%
• 4×4 – 45%

While percentages for cab configurations were not given out, we assume that a majority of these trucks will be regular cab models due to their ST-based trim level status.
