Your gun is poop

Built this guy a while ago but never sighted it in until today. the lower has seen many forms but I’m extremely happy with this setup. It’s not a budget build but it’s also not a break-the-bank setup.

ADM UIC lower receiver
DD upper receiver
Bootleg adjustable BCG
Faxon 16” middy
Bootleg rail
Primary arms nova 1-6
ADM titanium lever mount
Springco blue
H2 buffer
Larue MBT 2s trigger

She’s freaking dialed boys. Smooth as silk. Nothing shoots as smooth as a dialed 16” with a big suppressor.

Edit: Whoops forgot the details. 5" Colt - Talo Eli Whitney edition entirely redone by Rob Schauland at Schauland Performance. It shoots lights out and I absolutely love it.

Well after 4 months, a bunch of BS excuses and a few lies thrown in for good measure, I finally got a replacement GForce Arms pistol.
While I like the gun, their customer service sucks.
We will see if this one last more than 30 rounds

I redid the wrap and used sinew instead of their shoestring. Did a fancy X patteren. Gonna order a complete set of leather wraps from hellhound leather.

My latest pistol is this "special edition" S&W M&P10 2.0 10mm Backpacker.

First range trip was not impressive as the trigger was awful, accuracy was mediocre, and it would not work with Buffalo Bore ammo...

Got it home and started inspecting the ammo. It seems that I got a bad batch of Buffalo Bore ammo that was way out of spec and causing pressure spikes that were blowing primers. Waiting to hear from them.

So I had emailed him about a semi custom order. Asked if he could do the hole spacing farther apart as I was doing the cross stich. He said yes, just send a email when I ordered, which I did
I received the normal hike spacing on mine. Emailed him. He said yea, they messed up and will send me the correct one on their dime.
Talk about customer service.
Definitely check out his website. He has some nice leather goods

Got out to do some shooting today.
Replacement "pistol" worked good. Just need to do some work on the loading system. Way too stiff. Figure cut down the spring in the mag tube some. Work on the loading gate a bit. Will see how that works. Did that to my other lever action and it's easy to load.

May just need to break in. The Henry I bought new ran like junk til I broke it in. I think all my other levers I bought used.

Personally I don’t think we should have to break them in, they should run out of the box. But, experience tells us they run better after they break in

The action all works great. I've been cycling it a lot.
The issue, which I also had on my Rossi, is the loading gate tension and the spring tension in the mag tube spring.
On the Rossi,
I cut a few coils of the mag spring. Filed down the loading gate spring a bit. And smoothed the sharp edges. Now it's easy to load.
