I’m trying to get all the parts together to add Steering Wheel Controls to my 2024 2500 Tradesman. I have the leather wheel (non-heated), bezels for the audio switches and plan to re-use the tradesman steering wheel trim. Switches are in my cart, but I’m having difficulty determining the correct wiring harness for my application.

Can anyone confirm the correct harness for my application? 68619670AA or 68619669AA?

Did you ever get this to work?

I have the 68619670AA wiring harness and it does work but the left side switch only partially works. You can only scroll right on the channels, not left. Volume control and band select work on right hand switch. This may or may not be from a possibly faulty switch.
68619669AA looks like the one that is already in the tradesman based on image search, no audio control.
There is 68619672AA that is another harness for 2023-24 years, not sure about that harness.

Yes, I did. After I got all the parts it was Plug and Play. Here is a complete list of everything needed for a '24.

I went to the dealer to find the parts. I high lighted all the parts to match what you bought but I noticed you didn't have the radio switches on there (non high lighted).

I guess my list wasn’t so complete, I bought the switches on a separate order and forgot to list them here.

Are the switches on my order the same switches you bought? Also can you show me a Pic of your Steering wheel?

So I found a complete steering wheel for 200 bucks off a 2023 ram 3500 black leather with audio controls. It also has the heated steering wheel but Im not going to use that. Hope it all plugs and plays.

Hey so that heated steering wheel I ordered, everything worked except the lights on the switches don't all light up correctly at night basically the limit gear plus and minus dont light up but do work. See pic. I think its because of the wiring harness or my clock spring is damaged. Does your front 3 steering wheel switches all light up at night and can you dim them with the toggle on the left?

Any chance you looked into other steering wheel part numbers? I'm looking for the ones that do have the heated steering wheel.

So I have a 2025 Ram 2500 Tradesman Power Wagon that I wanted to add steering wheel controls to. All the information on this site was of course very helpful. I ended up purchasing a 2024 leather steering wheel basically brand new on eBay. The steering wheel I purchased did not have the adaptive cruise that mine had. I of course was able to take the controls from my new steering wheel and move them over to the leather one I purchased that already had volume controls on it. Well, everything was going well until I ran into an issue...I had planned to use the harness that came with the 2024 steering wheel and just move it over. The issue was that the plug connector for my 2025 that plugs into the clock spring is a black connector and is different from the white connector that I see on the forums. Long story short, I was able to move the pins from the old steering wheel, and install them on my 2025 harness and it worked. Basically it was two main wires for the volume controls (grey wire and blue wire) on the very end of the connector and one black wire (presumably a common wire) in the middle of the connector. I didn't get all the pictures I wanted to get, and I hope all this makes sense, but to sum up - if you have a 2025 steering wheel and you want to add volume control functions you can do it without having to purchase an additional harness.

Black connector is the connector for 2025 that plugs into the clock spring. White one is the 2024 steering wheel harness. You'll notice on the connector that plugs into the left side steering buttons the grey and blue wires...these are the ones I moved over along with the black "common" wire. Hope this helps someone. All said I had $200 invested, well worth it to me.
