Wireless CarPlay

Is wireless CarPlay a feature on non-nav 8.4? Truck is 2022. It's advertised as part of Uconnect 5 radios. Rented a Compass and it booted up with hardly any interaction.

I have a '22 with a non-nav 8.4 and my Apple phone (CarPlay) connects with either bluetooth or wired.

8.4 non-Nav in my ‘21 and iPhone connects Bluetooth or wired as well.

It pairs with the bluetooth no problem. However it does not display the apps or function as CarPlay. When using a cord CarPlay works fine with display and function. Rented a Compass paired the bluetooth and had full wireless CarPlay functionality.

I have a 2024 3500 and have endless dramas with streaming music and even worse with navigation constantly freezing up. Its super annoying. I tried to figure it out but its beyond my pay grade

Hi RamCares. Can you confirm if wireless CarPlay is or is not a feature on the Non-Nav 8.4. CarPlay works fine on the cord. Truck is a 22 with Uconnect 5. When I rent other STLA brands on business trips CarPlay comes up after bluetooth is paired. Not a big deal if it's not on the base 8.4. Just getting tired of looking through the menus on truck and phone trying to make it work.
