Because Ram decided to mount the radiator for the intercooler in the worst spot ever for a 4x4 pickup, I'm wondering if anyone has had any cooling issues after installing a front winch, which has to go directly in front of the radiator in order to be inline with the frame and bumper mounts.
How does one know if there are cooling issues with the intercooler? I haven't noticed a temp gauge for it. Maybe there is an aftermarket product that adds that info??
When I started looking for a new bumper, I noticed the vast majority out there are not winch compatible and I'm wondering if it's because of the radiator issue.
But, looking at the opening in the OEM bumper, it is not that large in terms of square inches, and my new bumper has openings nearly the same size.
Just wondering if the issue has ever come up before for anyone.
