I ordered from RealTruck a few times. Didn't have any issues until I got a product with a manufacturer defect. They said they won't accept a return if it was installed. Well how else would you know about a certain manufacturer defect until it was installed? Their return policy in the first section says no returns on installed parts. The section section gives exceptions and defects are on the list. The customer service has been poor during the process. Just quick 1 sentence answers. I am now getting the manufacturer involved.

Any one else have a story about an order with them?

I have ordered from them with no issues. I had bought some rear inner liners for my 2019 ram 2500 and tried to install them and they wouldn’t fit. So I called them and they told me to throw them away and gave me my money back.

I've had good experiences with them for years across 4 different vehicles, though all was prior to the "chip shortage" days, so maybe they've changed.

I would think it would be a manufacturer's issue anyway. You didn't specify what the item was, so I can only speculate, but normally I would go directly to the manufacturer if there was a defect in workmanship, etc...

SB intake. Air box holes drilled in wrong position. This allowed the box to make contact with the EGR harness and rub the connector till it broke. I went back to who I purchased it from since they are the one who accepted my money. If your milk was bad from the grocery store would you go directly to the farmer?

After they "closed" my case a couple times for having the part installed I reached out to SBfilters to explain the situation. Realtruck now moved it to the returns department who is getting the RMA from SBfilters for it to be returned to them. That is how it was supposed to be done originally. I assume they didn't want to do the paperwork.
