Which tuner? EZ-Lynk vs EFI Live vs MM3.

Yes, I would 100% buy the trans tuning with the CCS tuning package. I agree that I want a cohesive package and even if it is just line pressure.. I don't like to mix and match with things this important. I am leaning further and further towards just buying CCS tomorrow. One thing I am curious about, is the after single tune revision that was talked about.. they have a standard practice of giving you tunes then you send them data logs or something then they send you new tunes? Is this how you guys had it with CCS?
Yup and its even easier for you having ez link i would recommend spending the extra for the unlimited support

For EZ-Lynk, they have an unlimited support package. So yes, send them as many logs as you want. I'll PM you the details on it.

On EFI Live I have been paying for tune modifications. However that's because I keep going up on the power levels. The one or two things I wasn't happy with, I logged, sent them in, and got revised tunes free of charge.
Do you not have SOTF?

I am seeing a lot of love for CCS in this thread. I know Dirty Diesel Customs carry his tunes and if anyone is interested you can receive 5% off using code ETD5. I stumbled across a YouTube channel titled Everythang Diesel and he mentioned a code in one of his latest videos. If you are interested in performance modifications his channel is definitely worth checking out. He has a 4th gen but he gives really good reviews and feedback on his modifications.

Additionally, any parts DDC makes in house if you use code ETD10 you get 10% off. Not much but when you are cheap like me every penny helps.

He's good. I've been watching him for a while - back when he had his 3rd gen too. Can be wordy but always informative.

I highly discourage Anyone from using them or their web site. The reason they have good reviews is because they ban anyone who has anything remotely negative to say, that includes paying members (and losing your support). They scour the web looking for people who are discussing them and will ban them from the itgota site if they can figure out who they are. Ask me how I know....

Take your money elsewhere.

.
What's the reason for discouraging people? You have a bad personal experience or just internet hear say.

I bought a 2006 5.9 with a manual and I want to tune it but I've been stuck on whether to go mm3 or efi live. I know efilive has the switch on the fly but I heard mm3 doesn't for 06 and 07. What fo you guys say I should get and who to go with?

Efi live

Thanks and most of you guys say ccs tuning as well
I have been enjoying the 120+ tune (level 4 out of 5) from Optimal Welding. I know I have tried every tune file and I honestly think the tune 4 or +120 is setup the best for performance and efficiency. Although I will be trying out CCS as well at some point to try out what everyone is giving glowing reviews about and to ensure I am maximizing the potential of my truck.

Everything I've seen is that Optimal ghosts most customers when they need support.

Matt only ghosts people who are having issues with his tunes, im pretty sure its because he does not have the know how to figure the tuning issues compared to the other tuners who have been doing it for years

So, you are saying when his customer needs him the most, he disappears? Not good.

It's been reported that he uses "stolen" tunes so when there is an issue he really doesn't know how to tweak them properly. I almost went with them but luckily the poor reviews started coming out just as I was looking and I went elsewhere.
