I believe there can be a block heater for the 6.4.
Dont really need it for a gasser they build heat fast without one and the oil is very thin so no cold start issuesI believe there can be a block heater for the 6.4.
5.7 can get one, the 2017 at work has one.I believe there can be a block heater for the 6.4.
I did the same a few years backHere what I did for winter plug in.
There is no 5.7 in current HDs. As mentioned though, it is an option for the 6.4 Hemi.5.7 can get one, the 2017 at work has one.
There is no such thing as instant warm unless you live in the warmer states lol here the block heater just cuts off a couple mins of warm up time and makes it easier on the main bearings when cranking it over lol sometimes it still runs the grid heater before starting lolThere is no 5.7 in current HDs. While the gas engines do heat up much faster it’s still nice to have instant warm air when it’s cold out.
Ok, *comparatively* instant. I’m a wuss and I hate the cold. When I can’t park in the garage and it’s cold outside I’m not happy with having to get several miles before the heat blows warm air. The block heater on a gas engine makes a big difference to that. I plug my Jeep 3.6L in when it gets close to 0.There is no such thing as instant warm unless you live in the warmer states lol here the block heater just cuts off a couple mins of warm up time and makes it easier on the main bearings when cranking it over lol sometimes it still runs the grid heater before starting lol
With remote start and the truck plug in it doesn't take long for the heat to start coming on. Especially with heated seats and steering wheel. They turned on automatic awsome truck.Ok, *comparatively* instant. I’m a wuss and I hate the cold.
