When is electric cabin heater active?

it has been in the same spot since the beginning and may have a black cap on the element where the plug goes.

5.7 can get one, the 2017 at work has one.
There is no 5.7 in current HDs. As mentioned though, it is an option for the 6.4 Hemi.

While the gas engines do heat up much faster it’s still nice to have instant warm air when it’s cold out.

There is no such thing as instant warm unless you live in the warmer states lol here the block heater just cuts off a couple mins of warm up time and makes it easier on the main bearings when cranking it over lol sometimes it still runs the grid heater before starting lol

Ok, *comparatively* instant. I’m a wuss and I hate the cold. When I can’t park in the garage and it’s cold outside I’m not happy with having to get several miles before the heat blows warm air. The block heater on a gas engine makes a big difference to that. I plug my Jeep 3.6L in when it gets close to 0.

With remote start and the truck plug in it doesn't take long for the heat to start coming on. Especially with heated seats and steering wheel. They turned on automatic awsome truck.

I dont mind the cold so perhaps that is the difference lol

My 22 Laramie diesel came with the supplemental heater .......it's 30 outside and I feel no difference until the truck is at temp and actual warm air starts coming out. Am I missing something?
