When blend door fails, what fails exactly? Is it the actuator(s) or something else?
I did a bit of reading and there's a lot of talk about actuators and it appears they aren't very difficult to replace?
Or is there something else that needs to fixed / replaced to get things right again?
The symptoms are the I only have heat on the passenger side. When I turn temperature down, I have full blast from the blower on both sides but when I start turning temperature up, the passenger side gets warmer while still blowing at full speed, drivers side however just less and less airflow as temp goes higher and higher and there's barely any air coming out when temp is on HI, whatever is coming out is still cold though.
I'm pretty handy fixing stuff but don't want to bite more than I could swallow if I have to rip a whole front console apart that may be too much work for me.
Anyone has any experience dealing with it outside of warranty?

While I can't say how far you have to dig in for sure, I can show you what happens when the AC doesn't work right. Had a TSB done that affected the AC issues in the 2019-2020 HD's and this is what they had to do to fix it. I'd only had the truck about a year at this point. It was painful for sure

Yeah I'm not doing that! Not that I can't do it, I'm sure I will figure it out, I just don't have that much free time to waste.
I hope it is a simpler fix. I guess more searching and reading unless someone had to deal with the exact issue I'm having.
