What's the go to replacement battery for these trucks now days?

Keep your batteries and invest in one of these:

Limited-time deal: GOOLOO 4000A Peak Car Jump Starter - 12V Auto Battery Booster SuperSafe Lithium Jump Box for All Gas, Up to 10.0L Diesel Engine, Portable Power Pack with USB Quick Charge and Type C Port, Orange https://a.co/d/4SAY8ul

I love mine, carry it in my truck everywhere, and I've jump started the freightliner m2 106 at our shop with it a few times. Turns out that truck was missing a nut on a critical engine ground from new, hence constantly needing a jump, and this thing was always up to the task.

Anyway get one just in case, and once you have to use it, then you know it's time for batteries.
Yes I always carry a lithium jump starter. I thought they were a scam when they first hit the market, but I swear by them now. Small and light vs jump cables, and I don’t need another vehicle.

Just make sure to keep them charged…I throw mine on the charger once in the fall once in the spring. I have NOCO brand, they are fairly reputable, high quality…but can get good deals on them when they have sales… Black Friday etc

Northstar Batteries were in my 1998 Ram Cummins Diesel. I got 6 plus years out of them. I was told they use pure lead not recycled lead and they are AGM. I live in Canada not cheap but worth every cent. I ran back up engine heater and cab heater they never let me down. -35c I would fire up those heaters for 30 mins the truck would start up like it was summer time. Awesome Batteries.

I don't believe you can get them any longer though as everything rolled over to Odyssey.
