My pw is a 19 and I'm thinking of replacing before it fails out in the middle of nowhere.
AGM like an ODYSSEY?

my original battery in my 2020 PW lasted about 8 months so probably not a bad idea. I have seen many reports of newer ram trucks having their batteries crap out early. You are giving up on a 3 year old battery? Is it not holding a charge?
Battery maintainers are critical if your vehicle sits! My BMW's that set all winter have 11 and 13 year old OEM batteries still going strong.I use a trickle charger on all my vehicles. My 2012 Cummins had 9 years on the batteries when I sold it in 2021

When the OEM battery died, it gave no warning
With the limited testing equipment I had at the time I didn't dig into the problem much more than to ensure I didn't have a mechanical problem that would take another battery out. I agree that normal symptoms would be slow cranking, clicking, etc. But, in this case, it just stopped working. We jumped it off and I was able to get it to the house. The OEM battery was about 6 years old at the time. One significant difference was the weight from OEM to the Super Start. The OEM was surprisingly light compared to the Super Start.Wow, sorry to hear that. My limited experience is a slow crank, clicking, or a poor charging indicator from the voltmeter. To have a battery go from good to dead instantaneously and without warning is a pain.
Did you find out why it stopped working all of a sudden? I assume the internal battery plate to post connection on the battery failed? To go from 12V to 0V is the only explanation I can think of.
yes your battery is covered under your 3/36 warranty altho it might be 24 months I don't remember but they replaced both my battery and alternator under warranty.Battery maintainers are critical if your vehicle sits! I just think it's silly to replace a perfectly good battery on the chance it might fail.
Covered under warranty?
no there is no warning . Mine gave me one slow start and then it was dead. would not even want to jump start. it sounds like a common issue on newer rams.Wow, sorry to hear that.
