What to expect when picking up factory order.

Make sure they removed all the Mexico-imported cocaine bricks out of your spare tire. They're usually really good about that and don't need to be reminded. ;)
The hell with that i would sell it

I just did a good once over. Dealer went thru a bunch of features inside. Only thing I found was the drivers seat back switch was intermittent when moving the back of the seat up. Still need to take it in to get fixed. But dealer was there and saw it.
Once I got it home, and after a few car washes, found a scratch on the hood, right in the center, up by the windshield. Probably from a strap that fell from the car above on the train or truck.
My detailer found a spot on the gas door that someone has tried to hide with touch up paint. They did a bad job.
Only concerning item was all the rocks and mud/dirt in the engine bay, under the truck and even in the rock sliders when i pulled them off. Looked like someone had it off road. But it only had 15 miles on it and I know there is no place near the dealership to go off road.
But truck works fine and has a good warranty, so I'm not worried.

Make sure they have your tires pumped up 30psi over the recommended pressure! Just kidding, they will already have done that :D

All of this is good info. I’ve actually read where some people didn’t even want the dealership people or delivery driver drive the vehicle off the delivery truck! That’s a bit overkill. I would be PISSED if I was the driver and had to wait for you to get there to perform a job I do everyday!! Also, seen where numerous people request that the dealer doesn’t clean the vehicle after the journey from plant to dealer. Claiming the local teenager/detail guy doesn’t really care about the vehicle, just to clean the darn thing. It’s likely to have lots of road grime from train and truck. It probably wouldn’t be a bad idea but, the dirt could possibly hide a scratch or scrape. Myself, I don’t want to pick up a brand new truck dirty, and have to drive it 7 hrs back to MS.
