What should I delete for reliability

Hello everyone. I just recently purchased a 2022 ram 2500 6.7 cummins longhorn. Right off the lot I got a check engine light for DPF. It has been at the shop for 3 weeks and counting due to dpf being on backorder. I am wondering what these forums believe is the best delete options for to create a good reliable 6.7. I'm thinking of deleting all of this emissions garbage as soon as my factory warranty is up. I don't care so much for power or speed, I just want and need this truck to last me a while. I appreciate everyone's input

Idk I have a 2022 that hasn’t been touched and it has been flawless. My 2018 was fully deleted and it had some issues, and it wasn’t as enjoyable to drive either. I’d fix your truck and leave it stock.

With my '22, I will be deleting it when it starts giving me issues or when the warranty is out, whichever comes first

FWIW on 22s and up diets are expensive giving that you need a 19-21 ecm then have to have it programmed first then you can start losing parts.

From what I am reading on various forums, one of the best things you can do is tow on the heavier side for at least a few hours once in a while.

Also do whatever it takes to keep the engine warmed up prior to use, for instance a diesel powered heater so it never gets really cold.

Not exactly, there is a method where an ecm is not needed. The ecm is flashed with a stock non-usa programming. It can not be custom tuned though.

Non swaps are trash tunes way too many folks with issues that I’ve seen. If you’re gonna do it do it right.
