Does anyone know what this square black cover is? It is inside the box, drivers side. 2023 Ram 2500.Ram 2500.jpg

I bought this truck used. I don't want to break the cover trying to remove it. If it is for a trailer plug, that would be great. Just need confirmation before I try to remove the cover.

Im thinking someone added one there then removed it since that cover is not OEM
 
My 2024 has a cover like that. The factory trailer light connector is directly to the rear of it.
