I'm out in the truck setting everything up the way I want it. I can't find a setting that said puddle lights. I've got the back up assist lights to come on but can't find the puddles for when you unlock doors in dark. Also is there a way on the auto downward mirror adjustment in reverse to not have them go down quite so far, if not, I'm turning that off

Ok so the puddle light work when you physically open the doors but won't come on when I hit unlock on fob, any help

So I figured out my own dilemma, the dome defeat button was on and that bypasses all door illumination. So does anyone have a trick on the downward mirror function in reverse on how to not get them to go down quite so far

Unless there's some setting that can be tweaked with AlphaOBD, I doubt it's adjustable. Many have reported they don't do a good job returning to last position as well.

I turned mine off because having them both move is annoying and counter to what I'm used to and want. On my Audi, only the right mirror moves down, and there's a dial in the center console for selecting the mirror to adjust that also cancels that or folds the mirrors.

I also wish this dumb truck would let me auto-fold the mirrors when parking.

FWIW, I haven't towed with them in the Bullwinkle position yet so maybe they'll grow on me, but I prefer the old style mirror with the square convex in the corner much more.

I agree, they just go to far down. I wish the mirrors auto folded as well in park

I am seeing lots and lots of complaining about some glitches with features of these trucks..........., maybe the dealers being arses at this point is a good thing to force me to wait. Or look harder at another brando_O! What?

Does anybody remember the 4 digit code for the commercial settings

That is,if the dealer didn’t mess with ya!;)
Thanks boz, ill try that tomorrow. I remember seeing it in a u tube video at some point, I think on the body builder site

I also took the nasty valve stem caps off, some had debris inside of the cap. I put Stainless Steel DOT type capless caps on. 4ea shorty and 2ea 2 inch for the inside rears.
See Pictures below.

Can anyone confirm what metal the valve stems on the aluminum wheels? I'm adding a TireMinder i10 setup and need to choose between brass or aluminum sensors to avoid corrosion. My magnet didn't stick to the stem or or cap.

My aluminum fiver wheels have brass stems, wich is what tire minder sensors I bought 3 yrs ago. Splurge for the extra batteries on Amazon, they don't last very long

On my truck the Caps came some Brass and some Chrome. I have no idea what the Valve Stems are. The capless extensions are SS, I have been using this type for almost 20 years now on my big trucks with out any corrosion issues. I hope the pictures might help.

Are you talking about on your truck or trailer

well I got a great deal on a backflip mx4 for my 20 3500 long bed. Anyone who is considering this as a purchase, I highly recommend going to autoanything.com. they were great. The mx4 is currently 155 off until this Thursday. I waited sn hour sn called back to see if they could even do better an he gave me another 43 off. Was 1030 + tax an getting it for 910 with tax an sh included. Awesome deal right. So I ordered it an as soon as I got done with the purchase i had a pop up for a free obd11 reader pop up. Regularly $60, but free an no tax, just 8.74 for sh. Jing a ling. I was going to go with real truck but I switched over to auto anything when they guaranteed a return shipping label , as I explained that I was not a 100% the mx4 would clear my tool box . They said no problem

I have used auto anything, real truck, and another I can’t recall the name at this time. All were great to deal with. Congrats!

Thanks, I got my Lund toolbox ordered the other day. Bellow rail design an coated with rhino lining. So there's allot of variables that I've calculated an it's gonna be close. So you all know I have the 30k fiver puck hitch in the truck now. Well the bed from floor to top of rail is 20". The box will be 19" and the backflip sits down I side the bed between 3/4" and an 1", so yah it's gonna be close. I'm hoping that weather proof cushion that the tonnue cover comes with will lift up the cover just enough to make the difference. Now also for all who know how the bak flip works. The first panel is 8" which stayes put an every panel after that is about 24" an they all fold up so I'm probably not going to be able to put tool box right against head board an will probably have to set back about 6" so the lid can fully open. So according to my calculations in the first 30" , i can leave the cover folded to wich will cover the box but set back far enough for travel of the fiver hitch. What's the odds of all this working out. Makes sense in my head.

Rich, I wish you luck.
I have been doing some research as I too and faced with the same dilemma. I want to go with THEFUELBOX FTC60T 57 Gal fuel tank tool box combo which will be .5 inch lower than bed rails, and 3 inches narrower than the bed rails, and the lid will be a total 8 inches narrower than the bed rails. This should give me enough room for a cover of some kind if it doesn't hang below the bed rails above the lid of the combo box. Now if I can get that figured out, the combo box will need the first 23 inches of the truck bed (it has to attach to the bed floor and front part of the truck bet with only 1 or 2 inches of space. So that means ,I will need the first lid of the bed cover to open backwards at least 27 inches so I can reach in and open the latches to the combo box.... MAN, I've Have a Head Ache Now !!!!
