What did you do TO your RAM today?

Need pics of them lit up

Agreed. I was following a Silvo-Rad-o tonight that had smoked LEDs in the rear and it was actually hard to see his brake lights in stop and go traffic. It was day light which didn’t help but still wasn’t good IMO, especially with how little folks pay attention these days.

Trucks in the shop, when I get it back I’ll snap a picture. This picture is from the morimoto website, right in the middle where the reverse lights are it’s clear and there is a strip that lights up red with the brakes applied.

After many months of deliberation and help from folks such as @Riz! And others I pulled the trigger on a borla type s

Summit is less than an hour away so I picked it up this morning. Install by myself (5’10” 145lb yes I’m a small man) in the driveway took an hour and 45 mins

Hardest part of install was pulling out the factory tailpipe. I was able to just slightly flex the suspension ~2” to gain enough clearance to come out without much headache or removing a tire. (2nd pic, with jack)

Ratchet strap served as a helping hand with install. Exhaust hanger clamp pliers were very handy to have.

New system is lighter and prettier. Sounds great. I have been worried that it would be too loud for my taste but it’s not obnoxiously loud. I’ve only driven around my little town, so no towing or highway driving yet.

After the first drive, the tailpipe has rotated and the tailpipe is hitting the heat shield. I tightened all the clamp hardware to 35lb as instructed. I hope this isn’t an ongoing issue. If it keeps happening then I’ll weld it.

Well this is frustrating. The tailpipe rotated down again and is hitting the heat shield again.
I did a little more than the 32-35lbft on the clamps the second time and marked the slip joint with high temp marker. I don’t have a setup to weld stainless but it’s looking like I’m going to need to weld this bolt in kit.

I’m gonna try just overtightening the clamps and disregard the instructions
