What did you do TO your RAM today?

Like you I used to be a 100% debadge guy, on any color though. Now I prefer some debadge, then the other badges get color paint matched. I did it on my current pearl white 2022 limited 2500.
When I had my 1500 i used B-5 blue to accent the emblem

Yeah since mine has the night package I will keep some and remove the ones I dont like.

I think green would be cool

I agree. Change the red to green for the hemi and I want to paint the diff covers to bright green. Wanted a grave digger theme on the 1500 and never finished it. 1000% more motivated for the 2500!

How difficult is it to take the badges off? Mine is white but with the chrome RAM on the tailgate while the bumpers are white...it bugs me a little.

Pretty sure the big ram letters on the tail gate are inset on the sheet metal, leaving you with holes. I’ve seen a few people use a colored overlay on them. Idk who decided the giant ram on the tail gate was pleasing to the eye, I think it’s hideous.

Just buy paint matched letters and replace the chrome ones. It makes them much more clean looking. I assume there are mounting holes under them but I’m not completely for sure. The simple ram horn emblem on mine in the center has three holes behind it and double sided taped.

Never taken off the RAM on a tailgate, but the side ones are pretty easy and just stuck on the side. Fishing line or razer blade f youre careful takes them right off. You will need to clean and use a goo be gone or alcohol product to remove the left behind "goo". You can also plastidip emblems which is cheap and pretty easy, while also being 100% forgiving. Dont like it? peel it off and back to OEM. No need to sand or primer, just clean the emblem of any dirt or anything, tape off and spray. Thats what I have done for every vehicle but my current 2500 that came already black.

Yesterday i installed new rear shocks since I already have new on The front with leveling 2” springs. I’m trying out the FOX performance series 2.5 HTO we will see how they do.
Yes, please report back on those 2.5 HTO's, very curious how they do. Do you have stock rear springs?

It’s much easier to use a 3m eraser wheel in a cordless drill to remove the double side tape after emblem removal. I used goo gone for years until the 3m wheel. Never going back haha.

Ill give it a try, although not much was left behind from the offroad stickers and despite being 6 years old they came off pretty easy and in 1 piece.

Oh my bad, I was only talking about badge emblems with the real thick double side sticky tape behind it. I haven’t had to remove those off-road stickers. Was there just regular sticker glue residue behind those?
