What did you do TO your RAM today?

I’m blessed to have a place 10 minutes from me that rents you a bay with a lift for about $35 an hour with access to air lines and other shop tools. It’s made a big difference in maintaining my vehicles.
I would rent that in a heartbeat, Is it a place that just rents bays ?

I taco'd my tailgate. Had just unhooked my GN horse trailer and left it at the dealer because the first time we stayed in it the damn thing had a major leak. I was PISSED. Ruined our trip, thank god it was a local show and our house was only 40 minutes away so we just commuted for the rest of the week. So I closed the tailgate after unhooking and let the air out of the shrader valves on my lower bumper. Forgot to drop it back down, got in the truck and started to slowly pull away when I felt and heard the awful sound. I knew what I had just done right away. Backed up and got out and saw the damage and just about wanted to cry. It had been the worst week of the year and this just capped it off. Trailer is F'd, tailgate is F'd. Daughter did horrible in her show, her pony just did not want to cooperate. But we all learned a few things.

I had a tailgate vs trailer incident when my truck was a year old. It happens man. Sucks but we’re only human. I found one locally on car-part.com in my color. Good luck!

I drove mine home from the dealer. 26 2500 fully loaded. Like it so far. The infotainment display is a bit of a learning curve and I'm a millinial.

I got the prewired camera system. But where do I buy a camera that works with the tube style connector that ford, ram, and Chevy use now?

And what is this 12 pin connector next to the 6 pin? For RV use? Says 12A max.

DRVM tow mode camera is proprietary Ram.

12-pin is for the trailer 360° camera system. Look at our camera sticky in towing...

Looked around there but still not understanding how this camera setup works. Dealer couldn't tell me today where to buy a camera after I ordered the 5th wheel prep package.

"Parts can tell you"

The connector looks the same as the Ford and Chevy i looked at so I'd think it'd be easy to buy a camera. But searching ebay, Google, here, seems like it'd all a kit with camera, wiring, bumper connector, wiring to uconnect, etc.

This isn't the how to camera thread so I suggest you ask questions in one of those.

Took truck into the dealer 2 miles away and had them flush cooling system and replace with fresh coolant. $231 and I was satisfied. Only 47k on the truck but tow a lot and mostly in the mountains, so sleep better doing preventive maintenance.

Picked up a nice set of Powerwagon front and rear bumpers replacing the Chrome i like black better i had to move the harness over and backup sensors. Tomorrow I’ll swap the front.

Looks good. There tends to be a snowball effect. Next is badges and then night edition head lights and taillights (:

I can't tell from the pictures but do you have the Hemi or the Cummins?

With the PW bumper on the front, do you think there's room for the winch?
He has the 6.4 Hemi. The Power Wagon bumper with winch will not work on a Cummins equipped truck. The intercooler for the Cummins is in that location. There are aftermarket winch bumpers that claim to not interfere with the Cummins cooling system.

There is this from Vice Design, https://www.cjcoffroad.com/collecti...nch-mount-2019-2024-ram-2500-3500-6-7-cummins I have it on my Cummins, no impact to my cooling and I am Southern California, I don't tow much but am heavily loaded often IMG_2432.jpeg

I have the hemi and yes there is gobs of room so i don’t know about the Diesel i think it has coolers that may be in the way. I had a 2020 Ram 1/2 ton rebel and bought a winch mount behind the bumper and installed a winch i had room on it too.
