What did you do TO your RAM today?

I put Michelin 295/70-18’s on my 2500 Friday. Just a tad bigger than what was on it. The tire shop didn’t want to put the pressure down to what I had been running so they are aired up a little more than I think they need but it still rides pretty good. Better than the Firestones.

I don’t take my truck to the dealer except for recalls/warranty work. Every time I have taken it to them, I have had to go back behind them and fasten up wires or tighten something back up that they left loose. This is the second dealer Ive had to go to because the first wouldn’t even do the recall work and advised me to call Customer Services and they sent me to the second dealer. My son bought a new Charger and through the process of trying to repair a problem it had with the EVAP system, had just about destroyed his car taking stuff off and not putting it back. Dealer finally told him to burn it because they couldn’t fix it. He didn’t. Finally traded it for another one that has been trouble free.

Yeah, the only reason my goes for oil change-fuel filters is cause I got a service contract when I bought it and it was cheaper than I could even do it for. Once the contract is up and it will also be out of the extended warranty, it won't be going back.
 
The plan was to add two new 7" LED lights to the front bumper, then move the AuxBeams from the bumper inserts to the ditch light brackets, then change the oil and fabricate some covers for the empty light spots on the bumper.

Got the new giant lights installed, wired up, and adjusted, then built some brackets to add the AuxBeams to the ditch light brackets, then crawled underneath to assess the oil change. Found the oil pan plug and it looked easy to access. Then I looked for the oil filter. couldn't find it, lol. Crawled out from underneath the truck and looked down into the engine bay and still couldn't find it. Screw that mess. I figured I'd look it up online later. But to not be able to at least find the filter location without internet help is not a good sign.

Ran out of time, drill bits, and aluminum to finish the other two covers. I was going to paint them black, but kind of like the brushed aluminum contrast.

Look over the top of the tire on the Right side through the fender well liner.
 
A friend of mine put some train horns on his truck and someone pulled out in front of him. He hit the horn and they slammed on the brakes. They told the police that they thought they were at a train crossing. Railroad no where close by. Friend got a ticket for following too close.
 
Apparently have a slow leak in the work truck. Utilized the ram OBA to remedy that. Right rear was down to 16 psi. ARB pushed it up to 38psi in about 2.5 mins. Approx 32” tire.

FYI since I sold my decked system this is how I organize my stuff, $2 crates from the local landscape supply.

Looks great! I have a black one on mine and I have been considering a grille gaurd as well. I think that the topper and guard combo make the truck look super rugged. The rims and tires also help

Which brush guard is that and do you have any head on views of it?

As far as what did I do to the Ram…. After reading a thread about tire pressure, I lowered my pressures to 55 front and 58 rear. The change in the ride is very noticeable. The small bumps from thinks like seams in concrete are significantly reduced. Over all the ride is clearly more smooth.

Im not towing anything heavy and wanted to experiment with how low I can run them without causing unnecessary tread wear and a large reduction in fuel economy. If there isnt any adverse effect then they will stay at 55/58 of maybe even go to 53/55 cold.
