What did you do TO your RAM today?

I took it to the dealership and traded it in!
What a POS
I loved everything about the truck, except for that transmission going into first gear and the dreaded lifter tick that it developed. It was a time bomb waiting to happen! Pretty sad for 8000 miles

Right idea, but I don't like headlamps. Put one on, next thing you know the wife is telling you where to look. I bought this
Fenix lamp and it gets used for all kinds of stuff. Magnetic mount makes it useful under the hood and for extra bed lighting. Plus you can hand it to the wife: "Here ya go."
 
Black Softopper (with a tinted rear window) for my 2500 is now inbound. I needed the convenience of easy conversion back to the regular bed, as I use the bed for objects that are taller than the cab regularly (wood chipper and other big equipment). Also it may seem silly but 4th of july tradition is sitting in the bed in lawn chairs watching the fireworks with an icy beverage. Cant do that with a hard top. After seeing two rams in person with a softopper and numerous videos and photos of them on an HD ram and other trucks, I like the way they look. Security is a falsehood with any top that isnt solid metal and windowless, so Im not concerned too much about that. Out of sight out of mind is more important than full lock box type security, I know very well how easy it is to force your way into any structure / container if you are motivated enough. Ide rather someone unsnap and steal my stuff than shatter a window or pry open and damage a hard top steal the same stuff.

The first photo is the finished install after sitting in the sun. It wasnt too difficult.

I had to adjust the topper rearward about an inch because it was touching the cab. And didnt hang over the tailgate enough. Now its just right

Milwaukee M18 rover its a great mid sized light that will light up anything the wife needs! Lol
 
Swapping out the rear brakes and got this little surprise i guess ill be changing the wheel seal soon, its not dripping so I caught it early but its gonna have to wait until after I get back from picking up my new to me camper saturday. Its only 8hrs round trip im not gonna lose sleep over it.

How many miles are on your truck?

The truck sits max 2 days typically. Its rare to catch it this early I was just lucky enough to be doing the brakes. For 20$ for the seal and 30-45mins to swap it out I'm not upset lol
