What did you do TO your RAM today?

Power cords on the NOCO are long enough to make it down and out the bumper grille.

I got the bumper mount splitter but decided I wanted to keep the charger and block heater separate and I also control the block heater using a smart outlet with home automation so it only comes on at x temp and when I'm home. No reason to run it if I'm away from home traveling for work.

My 5A Genius has been mounted on the PDC fuse cover since 2020 and is plugged in nearly 24x7x365 when it's at the house and unless I'm actually using the truck frequently.
Good thoughts. I have a timer for my block heater, so was going to keep the leads separate as well.

That’s a downside to the little 2A Noco…power cord is very short. I’ll likely either run the port with the extension or lengthen the cord.

Beautiful install - really clean. Thanks for the pics. Was the power cable on your Noco long enough to make it to the port, or did you use the extension port (or lengthen the factory cord)?
Used a short extension cable designed for air conditioners. The cables on the NOCO are only about 6 inches long.

Hmm, my 5A is plenty long enough. I did have to add on the ring terminal cable.

Looks like the Genius 2A is also 72" but the little 2A onboard model is only 24".

OK that makes sense. I’ve just got the 2A onboard. Guess a dollar or so for another few feet of cable meets a price point for them…

Did this a few months ago, but I have to say I love it, being a old man, this is great View attachment 82557View attachment 82556
I love the power-deployed steps so much that I built my own harness to install OEM boards on my 2019 Laramie (I think I was one of the first to do this, with lots of help from other forum members, especially Jimmy07)

Added the method 315 machined wheels. 18x9. Wrapped with 295 70 18 Falken at4w. Note, the black center caps will be chrome once the parts arrive due to being on back order.

Installed a Highway Products bedslide this week. Very simple, but tedious. Turns out plusnuts and bedliner aren’t the best of companions.

The mounting flanges give you lots of choices as far as where to drill the (8) holes in the bed. One thing I couldn’t pull off again if I tried - that made the install more difficult - is that all eight of my holes were inside of the bed cross supports. So when plus nuts started spinning on my first install attempt, there was no way to hold them from the back.

Now that it’s done, it’s actually a good thing, because no holes will be subject to direct road spray (although I painted each hole with self-etching primer anyway).

Very happy with how it turned out. 4000# capacity, which I don’t foresee needing, but seemed silly to buy a 3500 and then limit payload (although ironically, it weighs 400#, so I ended up doing exactly that).

Rolls very easily, and has positive stops every ten inches - let go of the spring-loaded handle, and it will catch the next stop in line.

I don’t remember exactly, but it slides out approximately 80%. I can stand beside the tailgate and reach the back of the slide, which is the main thing.

I think it will be really nice for an old guy with a capped (and tall) truck. A major selling point for me is the inside slide width is 49”, so will accommodate dimensional sheet material.

In the process of fabricating mounts for my hitch and some packouts that can ride alongside the slide, and not interfere too much.

Slide itself is bare aluminum. I just cut up an old Bedrug Impact mat I had to fit.

what offset are your wheels? I notice yours are sticking out a bit further than mine (mine are +25mm). Looks good

Wrapped up my Titan 52 gallon tank install today. Connected my AlfaOBD and changed the liters so the DTE is correct. Tank probably has 15-17 more gallons of space and my DTE currently sites at 708 miles.

While I was in there I got rid of the three beeps when the truck is running and you take the fob with you.

It was a good day!

Added the CHMSL Cargo camera today. Thanks @Jimmy07 for the help and harness. It was mostly a pain free install. Self inflicted hooking up the security bypass harness caused a bit of grief but once I figured that out it activated like a champ
