What did you do TO your RAM today?

This has been a great thread and has cost me a lot of money as I see new ideas on it. This is my newest contribution to it.

First I added a Morimoto Reverse Light Boost Bar that mounts over the top of the license plate. I already have a Putco light bar under the tailgate, so I wired it into the Putco quick connect so I did not have to splice into any factory wiring. Rather than drill a hole through the bumper for the wire as youtube videos instructed to do, I just ran it over the top of the bumper and zip tied it tight. Yet to be seen how bright it is at night, but it looks to put out way way more light than the reverse light function on the Putco bar or the tail light reverse lights. It is an expensive little thing. Cheapest I found was a seller on ebay with a discount code $72.50.

The other thing I did recently is replace the pitiful incandescent bulbs in the ramboxes. I tried three different led bulbs and by far these were the brightest. Sorry, I did not think to take a before picture, but they easily put out twice as much light as the oem bulbs did. I found them from an old forum post and searched them up on Amazon. LUYED 194 LED Bulb Xenon White 9-30v Canbus Error Free. Ten bucks for two. Super easy to replace. Just push a little tab up and pop the fixtures out with a thin screwdriver. As far as I can tell these were the only non led lights on my power wagon and as dim as the factory bulbs were, I should have changed these out on day one.

Well... Couldn't have happened in a better location. Starter gave up in the parking lot of my favorite local mechanic after making an appointment for my daughters Benz. New starter order and changed in 35 minutes. 73,400 miles on my 2020 Laramie 6.4L. Factory battery changed out for an AGM 3 weeks ago too.PSX_20250102_211710.jpg
P.S. Don't make fun of the wheel weights.... kids will be kids. Local shop is a bit lacking, sadly.

That’s not a great life expectancy.

It makes me wonder if some reverse engineering isn’t involved to sell more parts and hopefully get people back into the dealership moments after the clock runs out on warranty.

Drove it home and scheduled the chip repair for the windshield; something got kicked up on the NYS Thruway yesterday and chipped the damn windshield. First chip in a very long time; let's see what USAA does to my rates for finally making a claim for the first time with them!

I’ve been using USAA for a long time. When I had my Jeeps they replaced probably 2 windshields a year for me and never raised my rates. My record was 5 in one year.

We go thru enough windshields that our comprehensive deductible is $0 and USAA has never done anything to our rates because of it.

Installed my chassis limited octane rear bumper. It not hard at all just tedious. It was very cold out which probably made it tedious. The rear sensors, I marked with tiny dots from a silver sharpie. Number of dots for location 1-4 and the largest dot at dead top. This might be silly but with my gladiator my sensors never worked right and I think I had order location wrong. I was not hopeful with this one but the sensors work absolutely fine. The only problem I have is the factory connector for the trailer plug is about 6 inches too short. I pulled a bunch of clips because it was 12 or more. I'm gonna look into getting or making an extension.
This bumper is very well made and worth the wait. It's three piece but bolts together and really looks like one piece.

Added a rear step. Also been busy scrolling through this thread from the beginning. So many ideas that I need about 20k to execute.:D I'm up to 2022.

I did the same thing. Read through this whole thread. Took a few days, but did find some good ideas. Started collecting things before I even ordered the truck.
