What did you do TO your RAM today?

It is a activated carbon filter that catches all the emissions from the intake when the engine is shut off. With our superior port injection there is a tiny amount of fuel in the intake track that escapes to atmosphere. I say FREE the hydrocarbons!
lol where is it located?

It’s not stoping them from escaping to the atmosphere, it’s stopping them from coating your paper air filter.

In the lid of the airbox.

Each spring I power wash the bed. Then spray the bed liner with Aero Cosmetics Rubber Care. Work it in with a brush and make it look like new again. Yeah, I know. She is a pavement princess and needs love. LOL. Cleaned and lubed the hitch. Ready for the fall trek south. Now I just need to service the engine, transmission and rear axle.

I put some Suma performance mirrors on it yesterday. Haven't driven it yet, but the field-of-view for the passenger side seems much more inline with what I'm accustom to from every other truck I've owned. I felt like the factory Ram mirror gave a "zoomed-in" effect that made everything look much closer than it was.

As for the mirrors themselves, no instructions at all, the mirror mounting system doesn't have the indexing grooves that align the mount to the glass properly and they don't have a provision for the metal stabilizing clips so installation was a bit of a hassle. I worked it all out, but it wasn't as smooth and easy as I had expected.

Got illuminated............
Thank you, just watched this again last week haha.

I made a flip-up license plate frame and modified the OE plate mount to hold a shore power plug and a couple of switches. The switches are waterproof; fully sealed on front and back. The plate frame is held closed with magnets on the bottom screws (near the switches). The rubber weather seal around the outside doesn't keep out water - it's just there to fill the visible gap when the plate is closed.

Hard to see in this picture, but the switches light up when they're turned on.

When closed, it's pretty inconspicuous.

All of the connections are hidden in the OE license plate mount and behind the lower fascia. Plug-in connections are sealed with heat shrink.

I also made a bracket to mount my battery tender behind the bumper. Hard to see in the picture because everything is black.

The red square shows approximately where the battery tender is behind the bumper.

I thought I would add an additional idea that was brought on by the flip down license plate
to give another idea to those thinking about how to mount and access maintainer and heater plug
Using License plate bracket I found an outdoor plug on Amazon that just fits the bottom portion of the bracket.
I have one mounted on one side for maintainer and will be installing second on other side of bracket
soon.

These government drones “birds” are relentless. Extracted another domicile from the grille of my truck. This is an ongoing battle. This is the first time it left eggs to repopulate the front end of my tow rig. Kinda feel bad that I busted some of them but I also have evicted these mf’s at least 6 times already.
