What did you do TO your RAM today?

Wrench day for the big blue Wagon. Showed it some more Thuren love.

would you mind taking a close up of your power wagon fender spats?

Nothing beats hand washing, first one of the year. On a positive note the seal on the Morimoto 3rd brake like is solid, no leaks. On a negative note, don't buy black lugs from Custom Offsets, all of them are starting to rust.IMG_20230527_165854984_HDR.jpgIMG_20230527_165839327_HDR.jpgIMG_20230527_165823118_HDR.jpgIMG_20230527_165755951_HDR.jpg

1st oil change at 3700 miles (I just wanted to change it before a trip from south Alabama to TN next week.)
I typically always do my own services and have on countless vehicles including many diesels both passenger and industrial engines.

I have never encountered an oil filter on as tight as this one was. I tried 3 different oil filter wrenches but couldn’t get it to budge. I could not get a pipe wrench on it so I had to remove the wheel liner to get enough room to turn a screwdriver after driving it through the filter. I had to put a 24” cheater pipe on the screwdriver to get it to turn. It remained ridiculously tight for over a full turn with me having to drive the screwdriver through it multiple times.

At the end of the day, the mating surface and threads looked perfect and the new filter is installed and the job is complete but man what an ordeal.

It's on that tight so they can charge you more and the stealership...

Found a nice scrape on my rear bumper today. Looks like someone scraped me but had to say. Oh well, happens. Installed my Naviks camera motion lockout and love the turn signal view on the uconnect screen. Pic unrelated but from today and helps me forget about the bumper scrape :-)
