What did you do TO your RAM today?

Installed the BedRug Impact truck bed mat. It’s pretty thick and dense rubber. Should do a good job of protecting the bed from unnecessary scratches and dents.

How much does that thing weigh?

Remind me not to let the light come on before I fill up. It hurts less to fill from half. Looks like they can barely keep up removing the stickers before they get restickered lol

I must confess. I pull my TT between the East and West coasts often and I contribute to those stickers. With the amount of gas I use its the only thing I can do to calm my nerves over the prices.

I’m not exactly sure. Maybe 10 pounds. It felt lighter than I was anticipating. My payload is 2664, so I’m doing everything I can to weigh it down and smooth out the ride. I’m running 50 psi in the rear, and 55 in the front on the crappy Firestone Transforce tires.
Need get an AlfaOBD thingy so I can change the threshold on the TPMS for the rear. (Front is good - no lights).

Thanks, I was really looking at those and in the past just use 3/4 horse mat which is HEAVY! Once the truck shows up I'll try it out.

I have the deezee heavyweight which Amazon says is 36lb. I believe it because it’s very heavy and awkward to put in the truck solo. I have been extremely happy with how tough it is. It does not have a tailgate cover which looks very nice in @G’Dave post

Yes - the tailgate part is what did it for me. You can buy them separately of course, but this is a great design, especially with the "skirt" that connects it to the bed.
BTW, I guess mine probably weighs closer to 20 lbs due to the 8' bed.

Not a good picture, too much sun or a dirty phone camera. But I got rid of the Ram door badges. Looks so much better without those enormous monstrosities. Also the 4x4 badge on the tailgate, and replaced it with another. No pictures of that. I'm the worst person for pictures.

I'm cheap when it comes to certain things. So, instead of installing the OEM digital mirror and camera, I installed a wolfbox digital mirror. I installed the rear camera on the back of my Bestop topper. It has a separate, front dash cam as well; and you can split view the front and rear on the mirror (if you wanted).

I don't like how the mirror looks mounted (it attached to the OEM mirror with rubber straps), but.... It works...and I'm cheap.

I left AZ on Monday bound for Columbus Ohio. Had my father in law’s credit card in hand. Was taking a trailer so I could bring back furniture from my wife’s grandma’s house. Got back Friday night. 4000 miles in 4.5 days. Can’t wait to hear what his credit card bill is going to be lol. The diesel got about 13.5 towing at 70 most of the way (small enclosed trailer). Between gas buddy and Mudflap, the fill-ups were between $4.60 and $5.02.

Did you load up on sugary snacks at every gas station like a 10 yr old too? Lol.

Installed my banks pedal monster. They did a good video.

2nd pedal monster for me and still love it!

If you’re inclined to run a tune, I recommend the Calibrated Power tune (using EZ Lynk hardware). Easily done, transforms the truck, especially running on 40s.

This is great. Thank you I will research it. Still hoping for gears hopefully this year or next year that someone comes out with them.

@Desertfox73 Would you recommend using a tune on a new ride vs a few years into the warranty?
