What did you do TO your RAM today?

Those speakers make a huge difference. Transformed the sound of the Alpine system. It's awesome.
It is such and easy and inexpensive upgrade that makes the music sound much crisper. I do plan on upgrading the door speakers also, but that will have to wait until I have more time after boating season!

Dropped the truck off for State Inspection and an alignment to Thuren specs @ 8.4k miles. Have had it one year tomorrow. Gave it a nice handwash this morning and scrubbed my Husky mats. Really like those mats.

Well, I replaced my dash corner speakers with Kicker speakers. The Metra harnesses made it a fast 5 minute swap.
I also mounted my radar detector to the mirror with my bellmount mount. I ran a direct wire into the liner, to the A pillar, to the foot well, where I wired it into the wiring harness for my AUX switches. Now I can turn on/off the detector with AUX 3 switch.
Did you have any issues with Active Noise Cancellation?
I've read in another thread on this forum that it can be an issue when changing the door speakers. The OP from the other thread reported a horrible droning sound with the new speakers, even when the radio was turned off. It went away when he reinstalled the OEM door speakers. I'm wondering if there are ANC problems encountered when changing the dash speakers?

I have a Laramie "base model" on the way, and will need to do something about the Alpine system. My 2014 Tradesman has a custom 5 channel 500w amp, 200w subwoofer, and 50w speakers in the doors (plus appropriate matching tweeters in the dash).

I have had no issues with the dash speaker replacements. I have swapped the dash speakers on my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie and my 2022 Ram 2500 with no issues. One thing to note was I found in the 1500, that the left speaker was wired out of phase, so I swapped the wires on the harness to correct this. I do not expect any issues replacing the door speakers this Fall, but I will keep this in mind.

Installed Course MotorSports phone holder/wireless charger and hard wired it. Also, AJT shift knob and radio knobs.

Installed Boost Auto tinted switchback mirror lights and they look better than pictures. I will take pics tomorrow and post.

Installed KC Cyclone lights under the hood. Made my own wiring harness and tapped into the aux switches. I did break all of the hood insulation retainer pins, had to order replacements.

Is that the stock hood insulation or custom, looks great

ordered 5' black exhaust tip, 12" screen protector, trifold soft bed cover, bolt receiver lock, traxda 1.5 level kit, as I wait for the truck to get in.

Removed aux fuel tank from current truck 2019 ram 2500, and started to clean out all the storage pockets to get it ready to trade in.

Well, didn't DO anything to the truck today, but do have wheels on order (Anthem Rogue 20x9 +18) and the 35x12.5 Ridge Graps are in. Wonder which will show up first, the wheels that are on backorder or the truck. Ha ha. Said the wheels should be back in stock mid-May. Truck is D1 with 4/30 ship date. Timing seems to be pretty close.
