What did you do TO your RAM today?

Follow-up: After a little over a week driving around with the new swaybar I can say that this thing is a life changer. It took the truck from a pretty decent riding big truck to a very comfortable vehicle.

Steep angled entrances and driveways, diagonal speed bumps, potholes, railroad tracks, they all disappear now. I’ve even intentionally hit some uneven drains in parking lots to test it out and you don’t even notice them. I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating a bit, but honestly I didn’t expect this much difference. I figured it would be just barely noticeable and I’d question myself for months about whether I should have spent $500 on it, but it’s truly an enormous change.

The only “negative” is that there’s a bit more lean in cornering and on curved on/off ramps, but it’s still way less than my Jeep had, so I’m ok with it.

I also did 500+ miles towing today and it had no effect on handling with the trailer (other than of course the previously mentioned comfort improvements.
Did you install any other Product? Soft ride springs or shocks? Or strictly the bar? Thanks

Hey guys, my 2022 dually rear has partial plastic wheel tubs. It has a front and a rear but the top center third is open and allowing the steel inner fender to get blasted with stones, water, salt and de-ice chemicals.

Is there an additional OEM part that can be ordered to fill that missing void? I really do not want to have that steel exposed to damage like that.

I am also wondering the same thing

Rear inner wheel well liners would be what your looking for
I am giving up. I've sifted through AllMoparParts looking for the missing upper 1/3 panel and I'm not seeing anything. I tried backing to a 2021 thinking that this would help turn it up, but I'm empty handed.

If you or anyone else can throw me a bone in a part number for my 2022 Longhorn Dually, I'm wanting a part number for the rear wheel well upper plastic panel that is missing from the factory.

I have the front 1/3 and the rear 1/3 plastic, but if you stick your head in and look up you see my painted steel truck bed is exposed in the upper 1/3 and you'll see that all rocks, water, salt and debris will pummel that need into a chipped and rusted mess in short order.

I need that covered!

From what I've read, they didn't make them for our trucks. :(

How easy do you think you could cut that liner? I am thinking about putting one on top of my decked system but I would need to cut out the areas the L track is.
You could probably cut your own with a sharp knife and some effort.

She is in right now getting her oil & filter changed, Fumoto oil drain plug swapped in (which will allow me to do my own oil changes from here on out much cleaner), tire rotation (currently 4000km on the MT's but thought it best to do while already on a lift), recall inspection for the grid heater fire caused from ground (discussed in length on this forum), alignment to Thuren spec's and they will be collecting some oil in my Blackstone laboratories UOA kit.
Safe to say the receptionist that took my keys had to run to the back and grab the lead tech to go over everything and not try to remember it all lol. Love the head tech Rick at Langley Chrysler, he knows this will be the first and only time he see's the truck for maintenance but also appreciated having someone who knows what is what to deal with. And yes, she (service advisor/reception) asked if it was deleted and I told her yes so please don't try and update any software and stick exactly to the P.O I had them write up lol. She said it was a good idea that I answer yes when asked if it was deleted as they have bricked more than 1 truck by someone trying to fly under the radar then getting a ''complimentary'' update LOL.

Lastly, yes.. I am very very nervous right now and hope it comes back in one piece without oil dripping everywhere and anything being out of whack or a new rattle or any other of the common dealership stuff to worry about. I think this is what it would feel like to have my wife go out for dinner with another man.. atleast I made sure they use and have the tool for twisting on top of the oil filter in order not to spill a bunch.

No, nothing. I hope that someone has a solution to this. It's a sad mess, in my opinion. This simply should not be on a vehicle priced near the cost of many homes.

Mine goes in Wednesday for rust proof and undercoating...I think I'm gonna have them spray the undercoating a bit extra thick right there to protect it...

Do some reading about undercoating on the forum.. many recommend against it. Undercoating that isn't 100% perfect coverage leads to water accumulation underneath the undercoating and exaggerated rusting. I used to apply undercoating at a shop and would never recommend it. There are much better fluid film options. Especially if you plan on ever working on this thing.

Fluid film doesn't prevent rock chips and debris from pelting the inner fender....

And which shop did you use to work for? Ziebart?

Picked up the truck today finall. I have Method NVs and Cooper Rugged treks to be installed Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks to Black Friday I’ve got the following parts to go on the truck as well:

-B&W turnover ball gooseneck hitch
-Rokblokz XL mudflaps
-Matte screen protector
-Console vault gun safe
-Tyger tri-fold bed cover (cheap and the one on my 2017 held up great and worked with my 5th wheel attached )

Only other thing I’ll end up doing is a window tint on front windows to match the rear. Suspension will stay stock for towing. But man I’m stoked with this truck!
