Can't believe your blaming that on the wife.;)

Installed Thuren 2" leveling springs, Fox shocks and a Thuren track bar. Should get wheels and tires on today or tomorrow.

How does it ride now? I have 2” Thuren springs and Fox remote reservoirs to put on when I have a break in my schedule. I’m looking forward to how it rides. Their sway bar was a HUGE upgrade!

Truck only has like 1000 miles on it so it didnt ride terrible to begin with. Definitley softens the bigger bumps. If its anything like my last truck it will get even better after a few weeks of driving. Sway bar is on the list for things to get once all this stuff is paid for.

Took her on her first long journey. 1K mile road trip. Wife and I both like the ride.
Did get her up to 97MPH on one down hill.
But she always had plenty of power on hand when needed.
Other than finding a screw in my new tire the night before we were heading home, it was a good trip.
Just thru the spare on. Tried to get it fixed in the morning but they were wasting my time and the missus was ready to get home, 400+ mile trip. So I just decided I'd get the tire patched at my local shop and we headed home.
Didnt go anywhere fancy, just visiting several family members up in the north bay area of Calif.

Wife meets boat trailer.

Clears the bow winch by a foot at full lock going forward (I checked) but she swears she did not jackknife it backing... uh huh.

I'm going to pull the sd card in the dashcam tomorrow and have a peek at that rear camera.
Want to know if she did it in the parking lot or backing down the ramp. I usually watch her (and cringe) but may have missed it.

Maybe Im asking this too early after your loss but is that a generator in the back and if so how do you secure it ? Also is that the 20k hitch ?

Robin-Subaru 3800 quietized with (not reliable) aftermarket remote start. "Secured" with two straps to the corner bed loops up against the Taylor Wing crossover toolbox that has a couple felt pads stuck to it. Security provided to genset and hitch via a couple steel security cables and padlocks.

The hitch is a Curt A25 (25K), not either the 20K (Q20) or 30K (A30) offered by Mopar. The Q-series hitches are troublesome with cushioned pinboxes.

Love the hitch, never an issue.

Thanks, seems like there's a few locally for $1K sans the goodies I have.
Just for reference, I just swapped a brand new one onto my truck. The tailgate itself from the dealer was $320, and paint was $300. Everything else swapped over from the old one, although it looks like you might need a new top cap.

Thanks, good info.

I guess the aluminum gates are less $.

That is a great price for a tailgate. Makes you wonder about the other thread that mentions them being stolen! :D

Ugh... sorry to hear.

That conversation would have been ugly at my house lol.

Is the aluminum tailgate just a myth or is it only on certain models. A magnet sticks to my 21 tailgate. Hood is def Aluminum though.

It’s definitely steel. I was curious myself when mine came in, and a magnet sticks.

I stand corrected. For some reason, I assumed it was aluminum. That lift strut really makes it light.
I always heard, and thought it was, too, which is why I checked. It’s definitely a little lighter than the the one it replaced on my 2017.

Done... For this week that is. Showed one of my co-workers this pic and he wondered why I have a Chevy Equinox in my bed. Not sure I fully understand why, but the truck actually feels peppier. Maybe it was just that I was excited, or the discount tire guys messed with my pedal commander. These are Fuel Rebel 8 anthracite 20x9 +1 wheels with 35x11.5x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
