What did you do TO your RAM today?

If you have a good coating or coat of wax on the truck put the foam on super watery and that way when it runs down it will pull everything with it. Then you rinse and dry. I use a leaf blower to do 90 % of the drying. I’m also using the cheapest foam canon Amazon sells and a cheap sunjoe electric 1700 psi(I think). When I’m washing my rv I put the foam on thick so it stays and use a brush on it. I try to use as little contact as possible on the cars/trucks.

I use cheap baby shampoo with my foam canon. Less likely to leave a film. Often that film is soap residue. I tried Chemical Guys and it leaves a film. If you have hard water spots go over the truck after washing with Aero Cosmetics Wash/lWax. I use the stuff on everything. Can buy it direct on their website or from Amazon.

Plus, no tears

Got a MOD question....
I have no idea if this is even possible and just speculating at this point.

On a RAM 2500 is there a way to mod the lower portion of the front bumper where the plastic is to hide a winch on a bighorn the way its hidden like a power wagon? without buying a aftermarket winch bumper or a tow hook bolt on?

Has anyone done this before?

I ordered a 22 2500 BigHorn CC 8' Bed. I was thinking on adding a winch but don't like the huge add on to the front. And need more size than the power wagon.

Like this?

It worked better when I was using a 13hp Honda powered 4000psi MI-T-M power washer. I sold that monster and I use a 2000 psi electric washer now. You can really get more foam and better performance out of them with more PSI. It still works OK enough.

I do an initial power wash rinse, lay down a bunch of foam and then use a bucket of clean water and wash mits. I have a wash mitt on a pole to do the roof. If the foam starts to dry (I try to pick a cloudy day) I lay down more foam and continue bucket washing. Using a pH balanced shampoo reduces water spots greatly

I was thinking about selling my Honda powered pressure washer and picking up one of those cube electric pressure washers. Hmmm.... making me rethink ...

I still prefer the electric ones. Only runs when it needs to, basically zero maintenance. I think the foam cannon and soap have more to do with it vs PSI. I don’t even use special soap. Straight meguiar's gold

From what I can remember from over on those forums, the Deep Crystal works much better at foaming than the Gold Class.

I am glad I switched to electric but I use my pressure washer a few times a year only for chores around the house. Totally depends on how much you use it and for how big of jobs

What maintenance do you have to do on a gas pressure washer...Mine is probably 10 years old and aside from checking the oil and adding gas it is pretty much foolproof.
Ours was always having carburetor issues. Besides that though it was super annoying having it running the whole time. Hands down prefer my electric unit. I have 75ft of hose on it and it stays pretty much stationary. I also feed mine from my soft water system at my house which helps out a lot.

I have both cheapy electric and a Stihl gas...they are both vital for me. The cheapy for the truck/ car but the stihl gas is the only way to go for cement, decks siding etc.

Can I ask why? This seems like a lot more moving parts and chances for breakage than the factory closed D rings.
Honestly mostly cuz I'm cheap, and to stop the frame squish while adding the power wagon winch mount which will be done soon
