2024 3500 big horn, with the digital rear view mirrorThat's the aux input for the DRVM.
What year is your truck?
That’s where the tow mode camera plugs in. This is the camera to mount on the rear of a trailer or RV that will show up in the digital rear view mirror. That dealers don’t know this is pathetic. I had to educate my dealer on several features of the truck when I ordered it. I asked to confirm that the trailer surround view system option came with the cameras and cables. They said it didn’t. I said it did and said I would need a signed document agreeing to provide it if I was going to buy the truck. They gave me the signed document. The truck came from the factory with the system.Several dealerships have been absolutely stumped as to what cable I need

Yep, I know what it is for, I just need a part # for a cable from the bumper to trailer camera, I have the old 4 camera system on my trailer, but they don't use the coaxial end connectorThat’s where the tow mode camera plugs in. I could be wrong and I might not be addressing your question, but the cameras for the 4 camera system won’t work with that plug. You would need the tow mode camera, which comes with the cable. If you already have the tow mode camera and just need the cable, I would like to know the part number if you find it.Yep, I know what it is for, I just need a part # for a cable from the bumper to trailer camera, I have the old 4 camera system on my trailer, but they don't use the coaxial end connector

Yes, you are correct, my old camera system doesn't use that port, it uses the 7/15 pin I think, my old system does work well with my new truck, only 1 camera of the 4 shows up on the radio, the 1 at the rear, and only in reverse, or slow forward,I was hoping I could get the digital coax cable, and hopefully hook other end to my old rear camera, and it would show up in the mirror, but I don't know how the mystery coax cable is terminated at the camera end? Hoping I won't need to buy another camera just for the coax cableI could be wrong and I might not be addressing your question, but the cameras for the 4 camera system won’t work with that plug. My 24 isn't supporting my old 4 camera system, even though sticker says I have surround 360°Two different trailer camera systems, so the 4 camera version isn’t old it’s different. The 360° trailer camera is still a current option, as is the DRVM.
The wired tow-mode camera for 23+ trucks is 68586112AA, but it’s incredibly difficult to obtain if it wasn’t ordered with the truck. I’ve heard of a few being found on eBay, but that’s about it.
You won’t be able to do that.My 24 isn't supporting my old 4 camera system, even though sticker says I have surround 360°
So I was hoping to make 1 old camera show on the mirror all the time

@Jimmy07 any input on why the trailer 360° isn’t working?

I think you are correct, I seeing my old rear camera thru a auxiliary input,The 23+ DRVM is compatible with ONLY the 23-24 tow mode digital camera. It's a different OEM and uses a different protocol or encoding.
You're never going to get a camera from the 4-camera surround system to work with the DRVM.
Sounds like your truck is only seeing the old 2022 surround as an AUX camera and not surround. Jimmy might be able to provide some insight on that. Perhaps you're missing the 360° trailer CVPM?
Unfortunately, these things are not legos.

I think you are correct, I seeing my old rear camera thru a auxiliary input,
Which puts me back to the cable I was looking for, I have to find a hard to find rear camera and the cable pkg to make rear view mirror show rear of trailer?
I'll just throw this in to,
I have a brand new third brake light/camera I could potentially use ? With the correct coaxial cable?
Thanks for all the replies
