Ok, basically what I'm experiencing is a weird beep roughly 30 seconds after engine start (the closest I can describe this sound is like a toy lazer gun sound that lasts for 1 second). It only "beeps" once. There are no stored messages or dummy lights. I've only had the truck for < 1 week and have never noticed that sound before last night and this morning. I haven't found anything in the manual indicating that sound. Anyone know what that sound might be?

Man I know, it sounds dumb (no pun intended) lol. It just started though, so I wanted to make sure it isn't an indicator for a problem. And if so, what is the issue?

Any chance you could record a sound clip?

What sounds like a toy lazer gun to you could sound like many other things to me.

Sure sounds like a laser gun. Does it have any kind of aftermarket alarm on it? That's about the only thing I can think of that would make that sound.

No alarm. Just stock Laramie trim. I take it no one else is experiencing this? Lol

I'm going to guess that is from a security system that the dealership had installed and possibly forgot to deactivate (or it is still active and that is expected).

Pew! Pew! Pew! Concur that it's probably something aftermarket.

It is the KARR S.W.A.T system. Either dealers install them before delivery or after, depending if you purchase the SWAT dealer installed option. Sometimes they get activated to track dealer inventory before delivery, but when you take delivery they either get deactivated or converted to customer activation.
I had this issue on both FCA products I've purchased. Pacifica did it for a bit and then I guess the activation went through / dealer geofencing was deactivated.
On my RAM it started doing this after it was installed, and it was not activated for customer use / disabled for dealer use, so it will give chirping sounds indicating geofencing is breached (dealer lot), or it is not activated.
Call KARR SWAT customer support and they will activate it for you / deactivate the dealer geofence. This system usually gives you added tracking features via an app (Apple and Android), and you can set your own geofencing limits, speed limits, battery disconnect alerts etc. It also provides you with an additional $20000 for replacement of a vehicle (on top of your insurance and any GAP coverage), if your vehicle is stolen and not recovered.
