that's your standard government issue subliminal message transmitter with built in microwave mind control technology

I wouldn't mess with it, unless you like visits from the CIA

I hated having one in my 2018 3500 CTD because it takes up storage space. My 2024 2500 6.4 does not have a sub woofer and you get all of the space under the seat.

I love having the Alpine sub in my '24 Laramie. It's the best sounding factory audio system I've had. My '19 Big Horn had the standard system and sucked. This Alpine system is worlds apart better.

I tried unplugging my Alpine sub, so I could take it out for more storage room, but my wife didn’t like the sound.

Right! I love having a little thump, and the Alpine system does not disappoint.

One thing I did to make it better was replaced the dash speakers with some Harmon Kardon take off's I found on ebay for cheap. The stock speakers are just paper cone, the HK's are 2 way and sound worlds better. Cheap upgrade.

Unplugged mine as I would rather have storage. I am past the age where i need to thump. As long as i can hear the music or podcast, I'm fine.

If'n they were smart they would have put it behind the seat as there is plenty of room there. I probably would have removed it there as well though.

I think the sub was behind the seat in my 1500. The Alpine system does sound great. It's just that I've never been big on the sound system and I would much rather have the storage.

Everyone in my family wants to listen to something completely different.

With a cell phone, they can listen to spotify or anything that they want. Also eliminates the need for a GPS in the vehicle.

I don't see any point to an in vehicle entertainment system once you have a family.

That’s where it is in mine. In the Megacab, it’s behind the passenger side rear seat. Under the seats is all open, but if you put anything large under, you’ve got to take it out if you fold the seats flat. Sub is under the passenger side storage compartment.

In my previous truck, the sub was under the front passenger seat, but as that’s where the jack is, it wouldn’t fit.

That's an awesome tip. You wouldn't happen to have the link to the ebay sale page so others, like me, can find it and upgrade to the same? Thanks in advance.
