I've ordered a20 model ram Laramie crew 6.7 drw an want to order the weather tech mud flaps. The new rams have a little fender flares around the wheel wells. WT currently has front flaps for this model with fender flares but only have rear duel flaps for models w/o fender flares. Has any one bought our tried these flare less mud flaps on the new models with mini fender flares. I dont care if there not 100% exact as long as there close I'm happy.

I am not sure about the weather tech, but I can definitely recommend the duraflaps. They fit best with the fender flares so it might be better for your application.

Are those the hard plastic style or the rubber style that flail in the breeze.

Sound pretty good, I'll check them out. Weather tech just emailed me back an said there rear duel flaps for new trucks with fender flares are only 2-3 wks out.

I am sure weather tech are good quality. I have had several sets of duraflaps over the years and they hold up well and look good.

I want Gatorback's but dang they're pricey. The dually flaps are insanely expensive.

I agree, i love them, think they look awesome, BUUUUTTTTTTT $500 + bucks for mud flaps is insanity for me. But dang there sweet looking. I like the ram an ram head logo ones.

So I really need your all's expertise. As I'm going through the process of picking my mud flaps it always comes down to the question determining if there in stock by the question if the truck has fender flares or not. This is really throwing me for a loop on wich one to pick. The 20 model Laramie drw crew 6.7 has these little bump out protrusions around wheel wells. What's considered fender flares an what isn't. Hopefully some can add insite as to wich models match up better, an some pics would be helpful.

So i went on car GURUS an picked out two different pictures for everyone to help with decide if there considered fender flares or not. The bottom one has a little bump out where as the top one has a clean change in sheet metal.

if you'll look on my duraflaps, there is a little bit of a gap which would be perfect if I had fender flares.

Ok, so the little bump out counts as a flare but if it's just the flattened body fender it's not a flare. I watched your video, nice truck. I see what your saying, but it's minute an still looks good. Problem I would have is the 20 model Laramie has front an back fender flares but weather tech does not have duel flaps for fender flares just with out. So that tells me my wt mud flap would inset just a little bit on the rear, opposite of yours. Am I correct

The little black trim piece is not a flare. A flare runs the whole length of the wheel well front to back. The duraflaps work well with no flares because they are made for flares. That means by not having them, I have a little gap. I am not sure of the construction on the WTs, but the inverse of the above may not be true. Meaning, if WTs are made for no flares, you may or may not have enough mounting space to accommodate flares. My advice would be to wait for the flare model if you really like the WTs or call them directly to ask if the current ones would fit your model. I did that with Durflap beforehand just to make sure mine would work out.

Your right i should just wait, but i am impatient. Do do you agree that the picture of the truck on the rt is considered (with fender flares)

Thanks for your input, just want to order the correct ones. I talked to WT an they said in 6-8 wks they would be putting out the duel flaps with flares.

Just wasn't to let everyone be know that I contacted weather tech today an reminded them they said to give them 3wks before the 2020 duelly mud flaps with fender flares would come out an that its been 3 weeks. They said they were in the final fitment stage an it would be coming out in 10 days. The part number will be. 120116

I guess it's just preference. I like the hard plastic wt over the rubber look. Now if money wasnt an option id be going with the gator backs, but I can't rationally spend that much for mud flaps
