Anyone else out there have issues with water leaking from the mirrors, door handles, etc after washing? I'll wash it, they dry it off, ill let it sit for awhile and then dry it again and ill be damned, it got streaks all over my doors, the side of the bed, etc. My other Rams and older trucks didn't do it this bad. Are there bad seals around the handles, mirror trim resting against the doors, etc? I don't get it its so frustrating.

Not I, but I did run into something that I have never seen before while I was pressure washing my truck. When I was spraying the doors near the door handles the interior lights would come on just like they do when you unlock and open the doors. And the door lock actuator would activate, you could hear it click each time. Does anyone know if this is a common occurrence? I’ve never had a vehicle with the door handle sensors that these trucks come with, but I’m guessing it has something to do with those??

I assume your key was in your pocket whilst washing with the pressure wash?
the sensor likely felt the pressure as though it was you touching the handle...

As for water streaks I have had this on all my cars and trucks, water just builds up out of site and slowly dries out...gravity :) followed by patience

Trooper nailed it. With the Keylees Enter-N-Go system, the inside of the handle can misinterpret the high pressure spray as your hand opening the door. Just a nuisance.

The water streak are a PITA!

Last week was the first time I washed mine. Have the keyless entry, and everytime I pointed the hose at the door handles on either side, it would lock or unlock. Next time I will unlock it and put the key in the house.

that happens on any vehicle that isn't dried with high pressure air to get all that water out of the nooks and crannies. use a detailer spray and microfiber cloth to get those streaks off, once it's 100% dry.

I know (and am told) I look really silly walking around my vehicles after I wash them with my leaf blower, but I gotta tell ya...it works!

if that's the case, I have been looking silly for years. even sillier when I pull out the compressed air bath after the leaf blower lol

leave key in truck will eliminate that, had to do that on my audi

Great idea on the leaf blower, i need to find me a small one for my cordless porter cable battery. Just finished washing and polishing s few days ago. Regime ud wash a section I'd hand dry it immediately. Looked great until I got to the other side where I had been rinsing towards and all the carnuba in the dirty wash streaked. Man I had to was and polish that side 4x to get the steaks out what a mfer.

Use a leaf blower. It helps get all the water out the little places you cant reach

Very true. But if you want to go crazy and have $400 to burn - MasterBlaster is a blower that uses 8 HP of heated air and makes short work of a blow dry. I only have one because it was a gift. You will quickly learn that I am a cheap bastard.
