I got stuck in Denver this past week due to the snow storm so I had to stay in a motel for a few nights. The morning the roads were clear, I got up early to head home. I go to check out and the front desk asked if that was my Dodge with the trailer outside. I said yes and asked why. They informed me that 30 minutes before I came down, they seen someone trying to break into it and ran them off. They also informed me vehicle break-ins have become pretty frequent the last 30 days or so.
The truck is a 2008 Ram 3500 Cab & Chassis, 6.7 Cummins with the Aisin AS68RC and she is what puts food in my family's bellies so theft isn't something I need. And yes, I'm sure no one wants theft. haha.
I decided to order this security system. It's a Viper Model 5305v. It is a hardwire system and I'm looking for some info on my truck.
Does anyone have an electrical spec data sheet (Wire colors to function list) and a schematic for the 2008 cab & chassis?
I would like to use as many functions as possible and also see if I can hook the alarm to my tow truck light bar on the roof.
