Was contemplating a 2025 6.7 Cummins... Nope!

It’s a substantial upgrade over the CP4 in multiple areas. The pump was torture tested beyond any reasonable extent to what it would experience in real world conditions and excelled in every one of them.
Very informative thanks for taking the time to post those pictures

This makes me feel better.

This makes me feel better. Thanks for the info/photos!

Note that there is no mechanical gear driven feed pump on the back of the CP8 for this specific engine application. The in-tank supply pump on the 2025+ trucks has been upgraded for more flow to accommodate this design change.
I noticed this little tidbit in your post and wonder what the difference is between the Previous year trucks and the 2025+. If it is improved flow rate similar to the Fleece powerflow lift pump it could be a good OEM option for guys that do not want to do a sump or draw straw but push more fuel to the high pressure pump.

My 2026 Ram is tow beast. Period! All torque on demand at virtually any speed. I’m truly impressed. I’ve had several diesels including a few gm’s. This one is king.
AZ Kodiak,
Excellent! Congratulations! I agree..
Post the details of your truck in your signature if you will (i.e. trim level, crew cab, 4WD, 2500 or 3500, etc) and details of what you are towing.....
