Dealer charged me $300 to remove automatic running boards (aftermarket) on my 2019 RAM 2500 Cummins to fix an oil leak. Told me they had to lift the cab in order to get to back of motor???

It is normal to charge for removing aftermarket parts. I would rather have them remove them than screw them up by leaving them on. They should have probably have asked if you wanted to remove them yourself tho.

Kinda hard to screw them up

apparently they didn't think so but maybe it was just an easy buck for them. regardless they should have given the owner the option of removing them himself if they did not want to do the work with them on.
