Looks fine to me. Seen fake t**s that were wrinklier on the edges and I still thought they looked good, too.

Did you touch the wrinkles on those to see if they were in the top layer or structural?Looks fine to me. Seen fake tits that were wrinklier on the edges and I still thought they looked good, too.
Felt structural but I double checked anywayDid you touch the wrinkles on those to see if they were in the top layer or structural?

This is my first vehicle with a warranty - my mistake of assuming the selling dealer had some sort of foot up on other dealers for my specific truck.I don't understand, take it to your local dealer, show them, see what they say. Your selling dealer has absolutely nothing to do with your truck. They sold it, there is literally no reason for you to even speak with them, who cares if they don't like it / claim it as their own. They have zero skin in the game, and why would you care anyways, it's 200 miles away lol.
From everything i have experienced there are 2 kinds of dealers, ones who only care about the sale and dont offer much help for service and ones who are there for you every step of the way... i will always use the dealer i bought my truck from for sales as the price is the best around buy a lot but i would never deal with them for service my loca dealer is much better for that.... one can usually tell by the dealership garage size the small ones are more just sales and the ones with bigger shops are service oriented.... just some food for thoughtThis is my first vehicle with a warranty - my mistake of assuming the selling dealer had some sort of foot up on other dealers for my specific truck.
My bad and didnt mean to irritate anyone by asking. Still learning who can take care of what
It's the way alot of them come from the factory,it's in the stamping process with the high strength steel, all makes of trucks with steel front dumpers have wrinkles to some extent,(I work as a painter in an all makes body shop).Got word from the dealer I purchased the truck from...
Salesmans answer was roughly the following -
"asked the warranty manager about the warping and showed pictures. Manager confirmed that it was not on the truck when they sold it since they do a very thorough inspection of all vehicles before sale."
Smells kinda like BS to me, since I needed an alignment, the bed is about 1/2" offset from the drivers side to the passenger side and there were 2 "permanent" smudges on my dash leather that I noticed the morning after I got back from the picking the truck up at the dealer (bought the truck at 930pm so kinda my fault for not doing a thorough inspection)
Really want to refrain from calling the dealer out to his face, but come on man...
How would I possibly get that warping in the bumper from regular driving?!
Make your prince known daily and escalate up the chain.Got word from the dealer I purchased the truck from...

Compare it to another bumper on a lot, if others don’t have it, I would push for a warranty replacement. Its wrinkles from the stamping process from what i can see it happens sometimes it could be just the mix of steel in the bumper or the dies getting worn out. Nothing is created equal **** happens..... is it worth worring about? Not in my books
No irritating anyone, they came off as passive aggressive. Rather than take the words as an insult, use them as a literal understanding. Your selling dealer has nothing to do with you or your truck, they decide nothing, help with nothing, and have no bearing on your warranty at all. If you didn't know before, at least now you do.This is my first vehicle with a warranty - my mistake of assuming the selling dealer had some sort of foot up on other dealers for my specific truck.

I would not recommend poking those with a stick. Feeling for undulations and irregularities is the preferred diagnosis.Looks fine to me. Seen fake t**s that were wrinklier on the edges and I still thought they looked good, too.
Exactly!I don’t understand how this is acceptable on any vehicle, let alone a $70k+ one. This wouldn’t be ok on a Civic. Here is my 2019 with no wrinkles. This is a stamping issue plain and simple and should be replaced. Where is RAM Cares to escalate this?
My man... theres people with BROKEN trucks and @RamCares can't get it fixed. this little bumper anomaly isn't going to get escalated up the chain. Go to a different dealer. And yes, this type of **** happens with every single other brand.I don’t understand how this is acceptable on any vehicle, let alone a $70k+ one. This wouldn’t be ok on a Civic. The beer cans in the case were just as thick as the bumper material too! Lolthe bumper probably wrinkled in the wind. Have you felt how flimsy they are?
A case of beer is heavy to my scrawny ass and I removed the bumper by myself and threw it in my scrap pile.
And made out of recycled Fords! The beer cans in the case were just as thick as the bumper material too! Lol
