2016 2500 2" level 20x10 with 35 inch tires. New EMF ball joints and PMC steering box. Wheels have -24 offset.

My problem is after new ball joints, and steering box...alignment to 0 tow it still wants to wander a bit. I credit it to not enough + caster and my stock radius arms are tapped out. I'm thinking BDS aftermarket radius arms so I can set my caster at 4.5-5 like EMF is recommending.

Anyone else have wandering issues after similar upgrades? Thanks in advance!

Some ball joints can be tight or draggy, and cause poor tracking. I had Moogs put in my old '05, and it never tracked right after that, and it never went away. I don't know if if EMFs are subject to this. Negative offset can increase scrub radius, which can cause lots of steering issues. Some steering boxes work better than others. You have introduced a bunch of variables into the system.

I held the ball joints suspect until i removed all steering linkage and the knuckles went lock to lock without any issues. PMC is one of the top rated boxes. I'm going to try a dual shock stabilizer. I've heard one sided can work against itself whereas two sided wants to keep your wheels straight off possible.

It's disheartening because I've read where many who've added 35inch tires with -24 offset have had zero issues.... and it seems like quite the opposite with my situation.

what about wheel bearings? mine were shot on my 05 at 130k miles. It was a wanderer too, after doing wheel bearings, then steering linkage, I finally put a cheap steering box off rock auto and it was fixed.

When I changed the ball joints i replaced knuckles and wheel bearings. I've checked play in everything since and she's tight.
