Valvoline Blue on sale

Napa has Valvoline Blue on sale for this rod you that use it. I didn’t need it right away, was just sourcing it… but for the price I picked up 6 gallons. My local one had 7 more on the shelf. Normally $31 on sale for $19.

I found the website, 10/30 and 15/40 seem to be the only options I’ve been running the 5/40 weight oils for hot/cold climate operation.

Yeah, I’m in Denver and we rarely get below zero if at all. I think for 5-40 T6 is the best bet, and that seems to retail cheaper than Blue when you can find it.

Same here. The Napa sale does not include 5w-40

Many, myself included complain of the T6 burning off in between changes due to its supposed high volatility. I’d like to know a oil in 5/40 that does not. I’d like to try it.
