a rock crawlin’ dude
<div class="bbWrapper">Good evening <br /> <br /> I recently came across an issue that I was determined to find a solution to. <br /> <br /> I have a new shiny enclosed trailer that I like to pull around in the dirt and rocks. That’s all good until I drop the door down onto the rocks and drive over it. <br /> <br /> In short notice I put some gouges and dings in my pretty trailer door with just a few loads/unloads. I knew it was time to think of something <br /> <br /> <a href="https://hdrams.com/forum/attachments/bc6d0c5d-4e99-4a8a-91f2-1a34121d6c63-jpeg.42729/" target="_blank"><img src="https://hdrams.com/forum/data/attachments/42/42729-32c6d9fdf2c8e86069e659358fc07ae6.jpg?hash=MsbZ_fLI6G" class="bbImage " style="" alt="BC6D0C5D-4E99-4A8A-91F2-1A34121D6C63.jpeg" title="BC6D0C5D-4E99-4A8A-91F2-1A34121D6C63.jpeg" width="200" height="150" loading="lazy" /></a><a href="https://hdrams.com/forum/attachments/13848e88-03c5-451a-9ede-20f4d9021e3c-jpeg.42730/" target="_blank"><img src="https://hdrams.com/forum/data/attachments/42/42730-aa3c7ceb63aa56ee0ce4206c99e9221b.jpg?hash=qjx862OqVu" class="bbImage " style="" alt="13848E88-03C5-451A-9EDE-20F4D9021E3C.jpeg" title="13848E88-03C5-451A-9EDE-20F4D9021E3C.jpeg" width="200" height="150" loading="lazy" /></a><a href="https://hdrams.com/forum/attachments/41343dc4-4f44-486f-9962-91a1c793c2d8-jpeg.42731/" target="_blank"><img src="https://hdrams.com/forum/data/attachments/42/42731-e82f16338f3101427d8a4f41e3229a91.jpg?hash=6C8WM48xAU" class="bbImage " style="" alt="41343DC4-4F44-486F-9962-91A1C793C2D8.jpeg" title="41343DC4-4F44-486F-9962-91A1C793C2D8.jpeg" width="200" height="150" loading="lazy" /></a><br /> <br /> I thought about black aluminum tread plate like the V nose of the trailer is, but that will just get scratches and I’ll need to drill holes. If only I could get more of the rubber tread plate flooring that is inside the trailer. <br /> <br /> Enter this stuff. Made to stick to boats and steps and stuff, thick durable rubber tread plate. Lightbulb. <br /> <br /> <a href="https://hdrams.com/forum/attachments/ee3522f1-7a3a-40ea-b56f-45749a4f7338-jpeg.42732/" target="_blank"><img src="https://hdrams.com/forum/data/attachments/42/42732-3c5861777219b465e4e5891b27105322.jpg?hash=PFhhd3IZtG" class="bbImage " style="" alt="EE3522F1-7A3A-40EA-B56F-45749A4F7338.jpeg" title="EE3522F1-7A3A-40EA-B56F-45749A4F7338.jpeg" width="150" height="200" loading="lazy" /></a><a href="https://hdrams.com/forum/attachments/06794fb9-6115-4ef2-ba07-7ed0cf625d28-jpeg.42733/" target="_blank"><img src="https://hdrams.com/forum/data/attachments/42/42733-06469887e86a83fb113a429018a8193f.jpg?hash=BkaYh-hqg_" class="bbImage " style="" alt="06794FB9-6115-4EF2-BA07-7ED0CF625D28.jpeg" title="06794FB9-6115-4EF2-BA07-7ED0CF625D28.jpeg" width="200" height="150" loading="lazy" /></a><br /> <br /> Here is how it turned out. I think it will do the trick protecting the top edge of my trailer door. <br /> <br /> <a href="https://hdrams.com/forum/attachments/20a8402c-94ab-4a28-900f-77fa3748ba38-jpeg.42734/" target="_blank"><img src="https://hdrams.com/forum/data/attachments/42/42734-6f60d8e832e3e35bb9d9340a7a7bf3ed.jpg?hash=b2DY6DLj41" class="bbImage " style="" alt="20A8402C-94AB-4A28-900F-77FA3748BA38.jpeg" title="20A8402C-94AB-4A28-900F-77FA3748BA38.jpeg" width="267" height="150" loading="lazy" /></a><a href="https://hdrams.com/forum/attachments/9752ac13-e984-43c0-b588-1d2b3a129056-jpeg.42735/" target="_blank"><img src="https://hdrams.com/forum/data/attachments/42/42735-4b48b3ce61d4b81bd8cbfc66d81eec39.jpg?hash=S0izzmHUuB" class="bbImage " style="" alt="9752AC13-E984-43C0-B588-1D2B3A129056.jpeg" title="9752AC13-E984-43C0-B588-1D2B3A129056.jpeg" width="267" height="150" loading="lazy" /></a><br /> <br /> I made a video and uploaded it to my sh!tbox of a YouTube channel.
