Upgrading to 2500!

Hello, new member here.

I'm currently shopping new 2023 Ram 2500 6.4L Gassers. Really liking the BigHorn Midnight edition. I'm not finding any near me with the 4.10 gear, all 3.73. Upgrading from 09 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi bighorn w/3.92 gears. I still the the old 1500 is a great truck and the 5.7L is more than capable of pulling my 7800lb Jayco Camper, but the truck is pushing 220k miles. 2500 should give me a lot more sense of stability on the road with the camper as well as more payload and towing. The mirrors on the 2023 are a really nice upgrade! In addition to the new technology these trucks have compared to my 2009 1500.

I'm seeing a lot of these 2023 advertised with $4k - $6400k off msrp but I'm hoping to find a bit more off. What are folks seeing on these 2023s?

I'm not sure what caused Ram to increase their prices. If it wasn't for my love and familiarity with these trucks I'd be hard pressed to not pick up a new 2024 Chevy 2500 LT. I did drive one and I must say that I'm really impressed with the 2024 updates on those 6.6L gas w/10spd and the MSRP is almost 10K less.
