Upgrading '19-'20 to a '21 model year.

With Amp steps, wheels, tires, and suspension I have almost 15K in additions now. Used prices are crazy here right now but I am probably too far down the mod path to sell mine without taking a bath. I will do the CP3 mod if Ram doesn't take care of us. If they don't take care of us it will be my last Ram though.
Gm and ford did not take care of their cp4 people so who else would you go with lol

Better safe than sorry but yeah, some definitely go overboard...
I would chose to upgrade to an aftermarket rather than upgrading my truck if I'm going to be 10s of thousands out of pocket.
Id loose 25k cad trading my truck in plus the new one is 10k more that what i paid for mine so instead of being out 35k i could spend 3k on a cp3..... but even if my cp4 blew up i would still be cheaper to replace all the parts out of pocket than trade the truck in lol

Exactly what I was thinking, used car market doesn't look so hot as it is in the US so I doubt I'l get anywhere near to what I paid. And I also checked the same confing that I ordered back in 2019 would cost now nearly $10k CAD more, and then the incentives... When I ordered, RAM was givin away diesel engines for free so that is nearly $10k CAD off the MSRP, now nothing... Not worth it.
Just need to convince my wife that it's important I spend money on aftermarket fuel pump, but she doesn't even let me explain why I need/want to do that, lol, keep yapping at me that I'm already fixing the new truck that hasn't got anything broken on it, lol. How do you talk to a woman about thinkgs like this??
