My 19 tradesman has steering feel. And all the rams i have ever owned were recirculating ball thats nothing new that does not mean anything for steering feel reallyThere’s no steering feel even without adaptive steering. These trucks have recirculating ball steering, not rack and pinion.
I guess I shouldn’t say there’s “no” steering feel. But if you’re coming from a 1500 or a Chevy with rack and pinion you’re certainly going to notice a huge difference. My 19 tradesman has steering feel. So this is coming from a complete novice with this stuff, but I got under the truck and of course to the naked eye everything looks right. But I did notice this piece on the driver side is not 'square' with the mounting point, it is turned more towards the front of the truck, not by a ton but it is.
I also drove my dad's truck today and it does none of the rattle/clunk that mine does over the washboard/potholes. I drove it on the same stretch of road that I do every day.
The first pic is the driver's side, the bright metal piece comes down into a boot, well you can see the boot is kind of stretched on the side I'm taking the picture from (the front side of the truck)
The second pic is the passenger side, it is basically square with the bottom mounting point (where it has the through bolt)
Might there be anything to this?
Ugh, guess I will call the dealer tomorrow.

I just googled some stuff and found this pic, driver side looks the same so it must be normal.

This one drives beautifully, much better than my 19 2500 mega. The only issue I am having is that feel when going over washboard.IFS is always going to be more communicative than a solid front axle. Its just the nature of the beast.
That being said I've been fairly impressed with the newer Ram HD's. They're certainly more refined (when dialed in correctly) than their older brothers. Get that toe set to zero and make sure your caster adjusters match (about one notch back - two notches if you're lifted or have a PW IMO) and they drive wonderfully.
I have the adaptive steering option on my 2022 Mega and I hate it. Zero steering feel. Feels like a GMC with waaaay to much assist.
