My uconnect updated yesterday now I have only a temp slider on drivers side. Used to have adjustable temp readout on both sides. Passenger only has seat control. Driver has seat, steering wheel and temp slider. How do I go back to the way it was and why did it change like this?

It’s usually a side effect of an OTA update. You can try a soft reset of the radio first, and if that doesn’t work, sometimes a factory reset is needed. Both can be done in your truck very easily. Soft reset: hold both of the buttons on the knobs in until the uconnect resets.

Is there any way to completely disconnect the truck. I am happy with the way it is. I don’t need updates and I really don’t need Ram knowing everything about the truck, including how much I’ve driven and where I’ve been. Not to mention selling that info to everyone on earth.
I guess the only updates I might want are for the Nav system. Even then, I could use my cell phone if the RAM nav doesn’t find something.

No, that seems annoying . I'm going to try and download the latest update and install first before I go through that hassel
So I did the factory reset on it, which is annoying because you have to redo all your profiles, xm, etc. But it seemed to fix my problem. Tried to upload the latest update I found on this site the next day, but it wouldn't let me as it had already updated to a newer verson.
PSA, if you do this while driving your cameras won't work until the truck is cycled on/off.
