Unknown Cables

Anyone know what these cables are for? I have one on each side hanging behind the rear bumper on my 2017 RAM 2500 PW

You have a 4th gen not a 4.5 gen FYI

It looks like they would be for parking sensors if im not mistaken
 
All my parking sensors are connected and operational. Did some additional research on other forums and seems like no one knows what they are for, despite others posting about it. Some suggested it was just an unused plug on a generic wiring harness. Would be nice to know if it's some accessory plug that we could use for mods in the back end.
 
I went through some snow drift sections during an unexpected snow storm a couple years ago that definitely hit the underside of my truck as I went over them. After the drive I noticed a wiring connector dangling down that I didn't remember being there before. I called my repair shop owning father in law and he asked his mechanic what it could be. He said newer trucks have diagnostic ports in various places around the truck that just look like random wiring connectors that aren't connected to anything.

Could be what you're seeing there.
