Any recommendations for under coatings? Do the lanolin coatings work? Or eat away at rubber?

I had the woolwax treatment applied to my truck last month. It should be an effective corrosion protection.
I don't like it as well as the Waxoyl I have had on my other vehicles.
The Waxoly cured down to a fairly hard product that was easy to work on the truck after it was done.
The Woolwax is a very soft product, if you reach under the truck to do anything you will want disposable gloves.
Such as fuel filters and similar.

I bought a 6 pack of this product and it was just enough to do my truck. It dries so it’s not messy. It is a wax type product so it ends up being a light amber film and stands up very well to road spray. I put some in the wheelwell in direct path of road spray of my daily driver just to see how well it held up and results were fantastic.

My favorite underbody coating is parking my 22 when the roads are wet & salty, and driving my beater half ton.

When that doesn’t happen to work out, a quick spray off of the underbody at the car wash does the trick.

I've come to believe undercoatings aren't worth the cost.

What I believe is a must is a hot, thorough cleaning with fresh water every spring once salting is done.

Been getting my vehicles Krown rust proofed since early 90's and the proof is in the excellent results in almost 35 years of Krown on my cars and trucks.
I have not had to get rid of any of my vehicles do to rust since using it.
That's pretty good in the salt mine roads of Ontario.
The guy who sprays it now says to do it every 2 years instead of yearly and charges me $200 per application.
So if you don't use Krown use some sort of good oil product which would probably suffice.
A mechanic I use to know use to spray his truck under body with a oil blend which included used tranny oil and swore by it.

I've used fluid film for years but have found it does cause rubber to swell. Dripping out of the door onto the door seal flaps, they are all wavy now.
