Can rear headrests be put on front and will it be a liability concern?

My headrests had an adjustment I wasn't aware of. See if yours will pull forward and reset back to the furthest position.

I did that already. I saw it written that the back ones fit on front but in case of accident I do not know how insurance company would feel about it.

I love the head rests in these trucks.

You must be very tall.

They're OK, but just too damn tall for almost anyone. That they're almost completely flat and tip in, the position on one's head is weird, they should be curved. I guess I'm spoiled by the amazing headrests in my 16 year old Audi that have more up/down and f/r adjustment.

(not my car or color, but similar)

I tickle 6ft. I have mine two clicks from full back.

agree they're not luxo units, though.

I guess I am a sloucher, mine was all the way back so on the way home, I pulled it up one click, then 2 clicks, then 3 clicks. My head did not touch it until click 3 and I agree that was uncomfortable! I am 6-2...

I agree that they are not comfortable at all. I think they were made to fit a dog faced pony soldier. Maybe they would be better if I sit on a MY PILLOW.

I never use the headrests unless I'm sleeping, which I mostly avoid when driving. :) I'm 6'6" tall, and I leave mine in the lowest setting. Make a good backstop if someone hits you from the rear, but that's about all. When I sit up, I don't touch them.

That’s the problem I have. I’m 5’ 9 and I have to lean head forward or else I’m constantly hitt rest. I guess I had a ford to long, never had that problem

I didn't't know people actually drove with their head against them . On these rough California roads your head would be bouncing off of it .
Im with yah, didn't think people actually used them. With back problems, I can't straighten up enough to get my head back that far.

I'm 5'10" and have no issues with the head restraint... they slide up/down and tilt, I'm surprised you can't find a position that doesn't get in your way.
I mean... they may have been actual places to rest your head back in the dark ages, but they are there to prevent whiplash...

That is odd.... I though these were the best I ever had in any car. They feel just right to me.
Maybe it's dependent on trim level?

I also love the headrest, love how you can adjust angle to fit your needs.
