Ultra Bright Lightz - Z Flash

I searched and couldn't find any posts about this product - anyone have any experience? Looks like a simple enough install. Thought this would be a better alternative to adding lights for plowing this winter.

A magnet roof light is all you really need but if you have the Vsim in your truck you can just setup to use the WIGWAG lights which is practically the same thing

Yea. Look to see if the VSIM is there. Check your build sheet or just look under the dash. Will take some minor wiring to get it going so if that is not your cup of tea the plug in approach may be better for you.

No VSIM and I don't like to mess around too much with electronics, that's why the plug/play looked appealing.

I and quite a few others in my volunteer Fire Dept use the ZFlash. i've personally had it for 5-6 years with no problems. easy to use, easy to undo. I always keep mine plugged in, even at the dealership.

Question...
Ultra Bright mentions that as this module flashes reverse lights, it could trigger the backup camera. Anyone have any experience with that or know how RAM activates the backup camera?
