@RamCares Yep, this thread is old. Apparently I never had wifi set up from the start (should it have been included in sale?) - never had any AT&T account and all my phones are Verizon. I just finished 34 hours of driving and found all my Sirius stuff had expired. Uconnect tells me I need a system update - selling dealer tells me I can do this by connecting my truck to home wifi or using the built in wifi (it will download automatically). Tried to set up wifi on the AT&T website and get the following.
In-car Wi-Fi hotspot service is currently unavailable for your vehicle.
Yet, when I turn it on, I get 4 bars but nothing will connect to it.
Is this glued to AT&T or can a Verizon SIM be put in? This shouldn't be this difficult and why no system update in all the visits to dealers in 5 years???? DM sent
